Magic owns, but I actually just got back into the Pokemon TCG.
Yugioh was enjoyable but got old for me really quick. I got stoked for the US release of the TCG, then quit after about a month or two, plus I grew up with Pokemon so I have more attachment to Pikachu and co.
I hate this site's videos. They are always super low resolution and no HQ option.
I feel like CS:Source looks more polished than this.
Fuck yes that's an awesome deal. I need to upgrade to the slim anyways, so this would be a good reason to do it.
So lets see, because people are displeased with Dante's new character design that means the game is some sort of god forsaken atrocity that plays worse than Superman 64? Seriously, you people have to realize how fucking ignorant you look every single time a DMC article gets posted.
The game looks like it plays well, what more do you want? Oh yea, ANOTHER japanese DMC that hasn't updated its gameplay since the original game back in 2000/2001. Yea because that's app...
Why would you hope this game is bad? Just so that you can say all of your ignorant early judgements on the game were right?
I'd rather be proven wrong and have a great, fresh, DMC experience.
Damn Microsoft is probably pissed about having to delay this. What is going to be there big holiday push without this?
I just want to add, when you think about it, neither dante design is that awesome. You're either playing as an albino or a street urchin. Neither is particularly badass on paper ha
3 games actually. But NT has a good track record so far. And maybe this will lend you some reassurance, but look at how Metroid Prime turned out. Nintendo gave the reigns to a totally unheard/unproven developer and look what happened.
The DMC series needed something new regardless of how well this game turns out to be. The series had been very stagnant, so I'm very down for any bit of fresh air they can breathe into it.
The new Dante could look like Barney for all I care. The game looks like it plays well judging from the trailers, that's all I care about.
Love the music in the trailer. Pretty epic stuff.
Fuck Kinect, give me a real steel battalion sequel. I'll pay $1000 if I had to.
If they did remake Halo 2 it's a good opportunity to fix all of the shit that went terribly wrong with it.
I'm glad they are remaking Halo: CE and not touching the gameplay, but I can't say the same if they did that for Halo 2.
I would have shelled out $1000 if I had to, to play a REAL Steel Battalion sequel with controller and all.
But nevertheless, I'm happy to see Capcom is still interested in the brand, and maybe down the road we could see a sequel much more in line with the original. I think you could actually do a lot of awesome stuff by combining both the Steel Battalion controller, and Kinect (particularly the voice controls)
Please god no, I want a glorious big budget HD sequel.
If the game is a port of an old game or maybe a side story of sorts I can live with that, but I think I can speak for the fanbase when I say we'd rather have a real console sequel.
Big Fucking Encounter, I believe anyways
My avatar sums up how I feel about this article.
Fuck yes we need another Kameo, especially given how much content was on the cutting room floor at the end of development. I'm actually really glad Rare scrapped that uber-realistic, "mature" sequel they had been working on. Luckily, George Andreas (a key member of the Kameo team) is still at Rare so hopefully we will see a sequel at some point. I just hope they can hire Steve Burke to do the music again since he ...
Yea you still have some of the low-poly geometry from the original, but aside from that this is fucking gorgeous. The depth of field, the depth and detail of the textures, etc.
When a developer puts out a 3 hour long CoD clone, THQ rewards them. But when one of their developers puts out a highly praised unique game THQ closes their doors.
No it doesn't show gameplay footage, but that doesn't mean it shows nothing of importance. We get out first taste of the music from this studio which helps set the tone for this new trilogy. And also it shows a lot of concept art from these sprawling forerunner vistas.
I'm guessing you haven't played Halo (or if you did, probably only its multiplayer) judging from the tone of your comment, but the Forerunners are an extinct super advanced species in the Halo u...
