These articles are becoming extremely annoying. The system gets a price cut and suddenly it's now doomed to fail?
The reason the 3DS had such a mediocre launch was not because it is inherently destined to fail. It was because people couldn't justify spending $250 on a system with no good original games in its line-up.
If anything now the 3DS will catch on and start to gain the momentum it lacked a couple months ago. Lets see, ridiculous price point? ...
Of course people bought their 3DS to play 3DS games. You're acting as if the people who bought the system are only doing so to receive these games.
But you're totally missing my point apparently. My point is that the people who are going to receive these games are people who already purchased a 3DS without any knowledge of this program, and simply for already owning the system Nintendo is going to give them 20 FREE games that would normally cost money, with some of th...
20 FREE games just because you own a 3DS and did nothing special to receive them, yet people are complaining? Gawd damn.
I don't have a link on hand where they say that, but I'm pretty sure I've heard it either in some E3 interview or on a Sparkcast
100? That's really an insult given how much most of these suits cost to make. Obviously, they have to make a profit on whatever they're buying, but when these things typically sell for a couple grand, $100 is a downright pitiful offer.
Oh great, can't wait til Fox News, Jack Thompson, etc. twist this one around.
I'm just confused because if there's a terminal on every level, what the hell would it be on the pillar of autumn? It just wouldn't make sense to be on there
To be honest that's actually one IP of Microsoft's that I feel is really underutilized, especially since Live & Reloaded did fairly well critically and commercially. It plays much more to Microsoft's main demographic than Nintendo's.
I'd love for Nintendo just to buy back Rare all together, or at the very least just rehire all of the former key employees under a new studio name
Daaaaaaaamn, this is crazy.
Lets see, because Spike has been doing the DBZ games for the past 3 years.
All of the Spike games have been quantity>quality. Yea you get every no-name character ever to grace the series, but the graphics and animations have never been as good as the Dimps games, most of the characters are basically palette-swaps of one another, the controls are clunkier, and to me the fighting system just isn't as fluid and well-done as what was found in the Budokai and Burst Limit g...
Nintendo of America still giving the middle finger to its region I see
I'm actually hoping that because Microsoft is getting some family game studios, that it will free up Rare's hands to let them go back and make more traditional games.
How bout Microsoft actually putting together/buying another studio to make good AAA first party games instead?
I mean they do, but they are all the really baggy MK1 designs.
I hope to god they release DLC that has all of the ninjas MK3/UMK3/MK Trilogy outfits like this (with masks though).
I didn't care for Vaati too much. I thought Zant was AWESOME though. Definitely one of the best non-Ganon antagonists of the series, which bummed me out at the end of TP where it's revealed that he was just Ganon's bitch the whole game.
Yea it didn't work for me either. Just follow the link, then click the home button when the page pops up. It should be the first headline there.
Though I'm really happy that Nintendo is breaking the traditional mold, I'm skeptical if Girahim can make as compelling of a villian as Ganon.
In other news: grass is green, birds fly, shit stinks.
