I never had a problem with Fujin at all. He actually has some importance to the MK storyline and had some cool moves as well.
If anything I feel Sony brought that "Evil Empire" vibe to gaming towards the end of the PS2 lifecycle/early PS3 lifecycle. Their arrogance and short-sightedness is what landed them in the #3 spot this gen.
Microsoft really does need to up the ante on the first party front though. They were doing great years ago, but lately they have nothing in their stables.
Seriously how does shit like this get approved?
Fuck 360 and PS3! N-gage til I die!!!1!1
In other news - grass is green, birds fly, and shit stinks.
Lets see...so still running on (what appears to be) the same engine, and no significant changes or additions of any kind? No doubt will be great, but this is hardly a sequel in terms of its feature set. Mass Effect 2.5
Don't care. Give me Dark Cloud 3.
I'm actually really glad this didn't see the light of day. Kameo is one of my favorite Rare IP, so to see it take a stupidly realistic turn would have broken my heart.
Hopefully they'll resurrect it one day and do a proper sequel though.
Eternal Sonata is probably my favorite JRPG this whole generation. Can only hope they get the green light for a sequel.
They each have their own pros and cons. GT5 overall looks more realistic, but Shift's shadows look much better and camera effects are awesome.
Fuck MGS5. The series was supposed to end 2 installments ago. I love the series but I'm sick of that being the only franchise that dev team works on.
Instead of pumping out ANOTHER metal gear, how bout Kojima and co. finally do the long-demanded Zone of the Enders 3?
This article is a fucking joke. Can only hope this is April Fools related.
Valid point. But considering this is a reboot and is going back in time to the first couple of tournaments, I would have expected some more faithful recreations of the original outfits.
Though not the best game in the series, MK4 still has some of the best ninja outfits. They each had their own subtle nuances like subzero's frozen arms, reptile's green scaly skin, etc. but still had generally similar uniforms though.
So this is rather disappointing.
Of all studios working on Kinect, this should be the one that actually is pumping out core titles not these half-baked wii rip-offs.
At least give us some sort of hybrid game. Controlling your game exclusively with Kinect cripples the level of depth it can have. Until I see otherwise, you CANT do a game like Metal Gear, GTA, Halo, etc. with this device, only shallow on-rails games.
God damn I fucking hate the new ninja designs. They don't have to all be color swapped like MK2, but c'mon subzero is the only one that actually bears any resemblance to his older outfits.
Was it really necessary to even mention Move, seeing how this article in no way relates to it?
Overall I agree with the general message of your post. But you apparently didn't read the leaked fact sheet the other day. If the reports are correct, the Kinect racing controls are ONLY for use in the game's casual mode.
These types of articles are starting to get old. Not because of the information in them, but because of the morons it attracts, like the douche on page 1 who claims Forza's cars look only marginally better than GT's standard cars. What a joke.
And for the other morons that didn't read the article, the quantity vs quality quote isn't even from Turn 10. It's from this particular website.
This sounds awesome. I'm glad the kinect functionality is just extra and you can choose to use traditional controls. The graphics being 10x better sound like marketing jargon to me, but I'm still stoked
If anything, they're researching how to brand their next machine. It'd somewhat moronic to try to rebrand the 360 at this point, since they did exactly that last summer.
