Well the line "go see a shrink" is more of a saying. If u can't handle waiting for a game, there is something wrong with you and you need to deal with it. "Go see a shrink" is almost a general term, so I chose that instead of writing what I mentioned above.
If you can't afford something, than that is your problem. At least if u can't afford it as a consequence of your own choices or laziness. It doesn't justify pirating and copying material...
There is no reason to do this. If you have a very tight budget, then wait until the price of the games you want is lowered or even on sale. Its not that hard. People today have been accustomed to get everything the very second it is available. Peoples patience is not what it used to be. If u can't handle waiting for a game, go see a shrink.
Well I don't think that the problem is declining imagination or creativity. I think that people play to many games these days. Or to much rather. And I don't mean that in the sense that its bad to play games, but I believe that playing to much saturates you. You grow more and more insensitive to a good story, setting etc and you won't feel as immersed any more.
There are a lot of great stories out there with fantastic setting, people are just unable to fully en...
Well both yes and no. Retailers such as Gamestop, Game etc with physical stores will eventually disappear or become very rare. I see no reason to why people won't start ordering physical copies of their games online instead of going to a store. It is cheaper, and people are always looking for ways to save money. I mean, why pay $60 or 60 euros or similar in a store, when its available on for example amazon for $50 or even $40 with delivery-cost included.
I would never ever even consider downloading a game that costs only a penny or 1 dollar or 1 euro. People who do that are a plague in the industry. I recently bought a ps3 and there is no way I am ever going to try to pirate games. I want quality with free updates and enhancements.
What I don't like is the price of some of the games out there. A game that costs 60 euros can't be 10 hours long. Or well it can, but it shouldn't. Developers need to make it worth w...
Ye! Since I just got a ps3 there are many games already out that I want and a lot of new ones coming out next year :) Can't wait!
Haha I can't buy all of them :P I will probably go for Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 and LPB 2. BUT I WANT ALL OF THEM!!! arrrrggh! :)
Haha :D Please do :P But I will buy a bigger TV when I have steady employment! Its gonna be at least 52" and 3D :D And I didn't mean to imply that you sounded ignorant ^^
let me guess, you live in the US :P Electronics are very cheap there compared to here in Sweden, I would have bought a TV like that if I could afford it :P
Oh darn, haha :P Well tnx for answering! Gotta wait a few hours more then :)
When does it start in UK time? :P
Yeah I was looking at the 40" but sitting 25 inches from a screen of that size would just feel weird :) Can't wait until I get my TV! I expect it to arrive sometime between monday-wednesday next week :)
I totally forgot about Sorcery. That is another game that I know I am going to buy :)
25-28 is actually 4 days :P
25, 26, 27 and 28 :P But it still isn't a full week of sales :)
All I have to say is: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I think that all the big companies should all create emulators for PC. That way they could widen their audience for their games and earn a lot more money. They could sell the emulators too, and start an digital service for PC:s like Steam. Not everyone can afford a big TV+ a console these days.
Well I think that the industry is trying to eliminate SCART-cables. They are pretty clumsy. And this is a very good option for small rooms/apartments :)
Once again the most popular games are nominated. Quantity isn't the same thing as quality. Although it is not that rare that they accompany each other :)

This always applies to issues like this. Good look shutting down Piratebay and goodluck stopping "illegal" downloads. Have fun wasting your money in a pointless war. Make your movies/games/CD's more attractive by adding content as some people mentioned above. It is the only way. Or try shut down Internet.
There is another side to it that most people might not realize. Couldn't the feeling of "lack of creativity" and "lack of innovation" simply be a result of a person playing to many games to much?
When you play to many games to much you won't be as sensitive to the story and game-play as you would be if gaming was something you didn't do that much. On very rare occasions you might come across a game that surprises you and feels very fresh and un...
