I really do love the harry potter franchise, but judging by the demo on the EA conference, Kinect is NOT meant to be in this game. A game on rails is only good for highscore kinda games, although it would be fine if there are small parts of the games that is on rails. But the potential of this game with Move is vastly superior to that of Kinect. Imagine running down a corridor, waving ur "wand" over your shoulders casting spells as u try to escape a pursuit. Kinect cannot do that.
Well the Harrypotter game is coming to PS3 too, hopefully it will support move :P
Oh dear god. The lag in this Harry Potter-demo. I definately won't buy kinect if it has lag like that.

I dream of a game with a huge open world, beautiful environments with a lot of variety, believable plant and animal life, underwater caves, tropical forests and so on. I want a huge world to explore, knowing nothing about the world when I begin my journey. That would be truly awesome :)
Well maybe becuase the release of Halo Reach is 1 month away and GT5 is 3 months away? Personally I love when a game sells well because that ensures that great companies can continue making great games. And great games are all that matters in gaming.
The cutbacks that MS has made on the Kinect is not so awesome :(. Now it feels like I'm gonna waste my money if i buy Kinect at launch cause they will most likely release and upgraded version of Kinect later. It is still tempting to buy one though, but doing all these cutbacks isn't a good way to keep me interested.

First of all, The playstation 3 got a 44% increase in sales WITHOUT the release of a new console, while Xbox 360 got a 54% increase tnx to the release of a slim edition.
Both companies did really well and I hope that they BOTH continue doing well. We need a competition so we have stuff to choose from.

I really hope that it isn't an MMO. I think that the business has focused to much on MMO's lately. As much as I enjoy MMO's, I've reached a point where I want a good singleplayer (or why not a Elderscroll V with a co-op mode for 2 players, that would be awesome :) ). But anyway, go Bethesda! :)

I really do think that these type of controllers can enhance the experience of the genre they are meant for. I hope that in the future there will be controllers like this that works with Move etc. Imagine using one of these and when looking through the scope (Dunno if this is the right word in english :P) you will see what your character would see when looking through the scope of the weapon you are using ingame :)
Sony could probably release some sort of software that requires 2 PS eye's to get all the functions of kinect if they wanted to :P Wouldn't be surprised if they did that :P
Naa it says that the 32 ghz is combined performance which likely suggests 10 cores with 3,2 Ghz each or something like that :P
Only thing that I have to say about your post is that USB 3.0 is backwardcompatible with USB 2.0 as far as I understand, so it will only have USB 3.0 or better USB ports. If I'm wrong about the backwardcompability, then ignore this :D
As far as I have understood from reading about this technology is that the glasses you will be using will also work as headphones so you will hear the sound from your screen and the other player from his/her screen :)
It all sounds so nice and I am really looking forward to getting my hands on that technology :)
