Very interesting idea for a site, albeit a bit specific. Nicely done.
Great point. It's also a fun tactic to build up suspense, make it seem like something bad will happen, and then just have a normal NPC conversation or non-scary event. This is a great way to pace the game (as mentioned in the article) and create some comic relief for the player -- and it's not obvious comic relief, it's generated by the player thinking, "wow, I thought I was going to die."
THAT's when you get them. Jump them after they've had eno...
do: not play them
don't: play them :P
Boo!
Fantastic idea. It is sort of tragic that arcades are almost nowhere to be found now - oh, nostalgia.
Console emulators are sort of silly given the ability of phones. I agree with mistajeff...
I still prefer the classic, 2D fighter titles to these -- is that such a bad thing?
Fantastic.
Glad to see this game is still getting attention!
I'm glad to see that gaming is becoming a more universal hobby for people of all sorts -- I'd just like to see less discrimination in game servers against non-male participants. :)
Your statement is unfounded -- integrated video chips are deprecated and unused when discreet (dedicated) video cards are implemented. That logic is flawed for several reasons.
By your approach, you could have one fan if you had one video card and no on-board chipset. You fail to take into account other heat-generating components, like the CPU, PSU, memory, high-RPM hard drives, and PCI-e add-on cards.
First of all, if you read the article, you'll realize...
Nice. Maybe I can finally make Lydia useful -.-
Are the guards respawning? (if there are any guards in Riverwood, can't remember)
Just wait until the toolkit comes out... I'm totally going to marry a dragon and make it cook food for me.
Keeping the PC on the floor is, speaking theoretically regarding the physical properties of air flow, going to give you access to a greater pool of cool air than on a desk. It might be negligible, but we're speaking theoretically here.
Sure, if you have pets around, you may want to keep filters on your system to protect it or put it on a desk -- but not all cases are safe to put on a desk (I'd be too afraid of my top-heavy HAF X falling off my desk, it's also 3ft ...
Haha, perhaps the next most important mod: swordfish replacement mods :P
Fantastic article idea.
Why not Zoidberg?
Keep them coming, I need all the help I can get.
More aliens! How exciting...
