I haven't played a CoD game since CoD4... I think I picked the right time to stop.
Not the best graphics, but the style's what counts. That game looks pretty cool.
Boxy cases like the HAF series (there's a new HAF XM in town, as well) are my favorite. They're not super portable, but they have a certain style that's very attractive.
Let's take a look at the gameplay for all of these: Point gun at enemy, pull trigger, they die.
Revolutionary! I wonder who will win!
DO WANT! Thanks for pointing this out, I might have you to blame if I buy it.
I loved Blood Money. We'll see if it can live up to its predecessors.
Silly name. Seems like it should be on phones as well.
I'd agree that the deck was stacked against it. It's not really my type of game, but that doesn't mean it didn't have good value. DE: HR still had great overall production quality.
I love the title. Keep up the clever writing!
I buy so many damn games because "they're on sale, I'll play it eventually anyway," and yet, here I have over 200 games in my Steam library alone and have only played about a quarter of them.
Interesting article, glad to see some analysis.

Correct, it's 1600 tech :P
Poor jokes aside, you're right -- it'll last at least 3 years (obviously the graphics quality will degrade with each passing advancement in software). Even if you're a nut for maximum graphics, you could still use the rest of the system as a foundation and then just upgrade video cards as you go.
It's a perfect entry level system.
That said, it should also be noted that console hardware is inferi...
Limewax is correct: If you look at GPU trend charts, you'll see that it's often software which is behind hardware, not the other way around. This is because, obviously, software development lifecycles haven't yet developed time machines to utilize hardware before it is made.
The 6850 and X4 970 are still fantastic components and, from first-hand experience with several of our analytical benchmarks, will near-max any game out there right now, including BF3.
The Rayman series is one of the best introductory gaming series.
Good deal.
It's a solid setup!
I've been waiting to read more about Skyward Sword -- I haven't played any console games in years, but I may just dig out some old equipment for this one...
