Agreed. While the story was simple and not Kojima's I think Gene is one of the best villains in Metal Gear history. I loved Snakes evolution from a lone soldier to a leader of men. The controls KILLED it for me though. I know people said they were bad, but I had no idea they were THAT BAD.

Waiting for Half Life 3 and Deus Ex HR. Those are sure to expand on the genre in terms of story and gmaeplay. Seriously, watch the CG trailer and the dev interviews of Deus Ex and TRY not to be hyped for it.
I don't even plan on watching the movie, just playing the demo. I don't even buy movies just games so this will be my first blu ray ever. Looks great, but the quality of the video doesn't do what it'll probably look like justice.

I could swear I read this before already. Anyway Uncharted looks excellent without all the facial animation. The voice acting is so convincing, and the graphics are so flawless I don't even care.

I played it once and never touched it again. Wasn't bad, but has little to no replay value. Wish they added puzzles, funner locations like the amusement park, and a deeper story and characters. The ending was AWESOME though.

Is anything on that long list of shit an actual improvement? NO. They're fucking tweaks so it wont be identical to Madden 11. Fuck Madden and the Madden 12 team. They'll NEVER give real football fans what they want like 2k did. BTW momentum tackling=more new animations that arent physics, but rating based. Madden 12, introduces...........GRASS! YAY! They just need to bring back the gameplay from Here Comes The Pain. It was slightly unrealistic but that's the charm and fun in the old WWF games. Matches are way too slow paced in the new games and they're all the same.
Graphics SUCK in new WWE games. Back in the day I visualized them looking much better than they do. I expected them to look like Fight Night!
Randy Orton really IS fucking boring, heel or face. Back in the day HHH was the greatest heel of all time IMO. Cena can't wrestle and CM isn't bad, just corny on the mic.

That's going a little too far. Even Battlefield can exist without campaigns. Halo is known as a pioneer in console MP FPS, not for its campaign. Not to say that the campaign is bad, but it sure as hell is no Half Life. The MP appeal is definitely not emotion for me.
Only games I'm preordering are Uncharted 3, Gears 3, and Mass Effect 3. I HAVE to have those day 1.
