Maybe the only way is to do a battlenet type thing with windows live. I use steam primarily like everyone else, but when I wanna play some starcraft, battlenet it is.
Not saying constant connection is a great idea, but it would mostly solve the pirating problem.

I believe that the staleness is from action shooters this generation. A "very old" concept is not a "tired" concept by any means, otherwise Starcraft 2 was a rehashed cash grab (which we both know isn't true).
This age of action shooters is beginning to wear thin and I'm glad. Xcom and Dishonored are a breath of fresh air I must say.

Yeah except it probably doesn't come with a lasting MP, zombies and a new campaign. Dirt fans wanted Codemasters to stop Americanizing it and now we have Dirt: Motorstorm Derby Edition. Seems like a regress in every possible way.

This should have been an optional Dirt 3 expansion. A whole game dedicated to this.....I just don't know anyone who will play this or even bother to buy it.
The things I would do for a 2k football game. Look at how NBA 2k12 implements the NBA today thing and has the best commentary of any sports sim ever. Just imagine that for the NFL.........makes me sick thinking about it.
