Extremely impressive, and I'm not even the comic/superhero type. This and Infamous are the best superhero games ever made. I can tell this will get a metacritic of at least 93.
I thought U2 was funner than COD. If they kept the same gameplay with more guns, boosters and customization, it would've been perfect. Not a fan of the U3 changes.
Am I the only console gamer looking forward to this? It looks INCREDIBLE to me. It may have the impact that Mass Effect does with its freedom of choice, but now its extended to the gameplay (stealth vs rambo vs mixture) as well. GET EXCITED AND BE ON THE LOOKOUT!
I think there is quite a bit of difference and I felt it from the moment I first used my character. Everyone keeps saying 3 is better, but I don't see it. I'm talking about the core gameplay mechanics. I love the customization and boosters, but I DO NOT see an improvement in the already fluid character control in U2. I see a step back.
@Septic Boosters didn't play a big enough role. There weren't many maps and barely any guns. THe control, pace, and traversal aspects were MINDBLOWING which is why tons of people still play as we speak.
Is it a trend with all these impressions to shit on U2, and then say U3 has vastly improved on it? I thought U2 was perfect and things that didn't need fixing were fixed. The gameplay was fast, fun and RESPONSIVE. Now it kinda reminds me of Socom 4 movement-wise.
I want the faced paced action of U2 on these big maps. U2 gameplay on these maps would be AWESOME. So far I do not like the changes to the pace.

So far I'm liking the fast paced frenetic gameplay of Uncharted 2's MP. U3 seems stiff, slowed down, and heavier. the animations in the movement are less fluid as well. I would LOVE to have U2's MP gameplay with more animations and all of the boosters, guns, customizations and power ups of U3.

I agree COMPLETELY. "Its called a beta." I don't think that has anything to do with it. At this stage if I told ND to remove the sprint and keep the fluid animations of U2 but add more, and remove the weightiness and stiffness of the characters it'd be too much. A step in the wrong direction, not a technical problem.

OK. I'll go even further and say that 90 percent of the people who own an Xbox are FPS addicts. It would be dumb to say that Halo carried the Xbox and at the same time say that its good exclusives have variety.
I'm getting both, but Uncharted 3, RE4 HD, MGS collection, and Assassins Creed are all coming out around the same time!
Xbox needs to add all these console "apps" because of the lack of exclusives. Gears and Halo are shooters that I enjoy. Xbox is a shooter console, nothing more, nothing less.
U3 beta makes it the best week of the year for me!
I suppose you're right if I'm missing out on the MP. But I'm not biting my tongue about the SP. In Gears there is NO variety in the game play to the point that comparing it to Uncharted is unfair.
When I look at vids of Gears MP, there are people hopping and rolling constantly with shotguns. EVERYONE seems to use shotguns. Doesn't look fun to me but I'll try it when I get a mic. I'm a run and gun type, so Gears looks unappealing to me.

I made it a point not to mention Uncharted 2's amazing MP because I play it all the time. I was comparing the SP experiences.....which may be a mismatch.....but it's fair.
I asked a few days back am I the only console gamer who never played the original who has preordred this and is pumped. This game is gonna mask a lasting impact as an action RPG. I AM ECSTATIC!
