I'mma throw this out here, but last week I tried after a week a no-death run of Contra and must say that it's only cheap once so it's not reallt cheap. It's only cheap if you don't know what he does.
They're scared because ever since then they've produced so few good games that it'd show how much the games that make stink today compared to it. FF VII remake will be in their ace in the hole though if they ever need money in a no-fail situation.

Move is irrelevant because the people who want motion sensing have a Wii. People who want a Kinect have a Xbox. It offers nothing advantageous but it being it's self and it's challenging the Wii, not the 360. The PS3 probably had a decent chunk less than 360 as there's no reason to buy it unless you do for the exclusives or blu-ray. And casuals don't buy for exclusives this late so that leaves one logical option.

Exactly. If you need to keep the same game to keep people buying I won't be a tool for you to do so. This franchise honestly won't last the way it's going.
