They're being compared because BF3 is how a publisher and developer should go about their series, with improvements, adding stuff, and making good games. While Activision has tried just to appeal to more people screwing their core base of fans and ruining the game.

Lol, and when COD# comes out next time around, I'm sure that'll be #2 until the next one...not that it matters. COD4 is the standard for a GOOD Call of Duty. It'll never be better than COD4 unless they do away with killstreaks or make them exactly like COD4. That won't happen, the hipsters would cry foul and ditch the game. That I do not. I will not ever own one either. I make my own tools as it is for need Windows stuff, which I already have a large amount of tools for on Windows which is a graveyard on Mac. ^ Not really, Intels x86 instruction set was shtty the day it made it's release in 78. It's always been the worst. If we had computers built on the 68000 we'd be way farther ahead. You don't know much about microprocessors and how to program them I guess, oh well. Most here don't.

He's right. Abandoning Intel or AMD x64 would probably be REALLY bad. One great thing about it is it is SO much like the PC that it lures many developers and is easy to get in to and use. Which if you change it to ARM, which isn't popular or a better microprocessor, you forgo lots of things. The biggest would be Xbox 360 compatibility and the quantity of programmers for it.
I know Intel sucks, I wish it wasn't the processor chosen to lead us into the 21st century ...

Activision has learned from Jobs very well....sadly. Garbage way of running a business and trick people out of their money and hook them onto your products, but a smart man for coming up with it. Hopefully the government takes action soon though. All other phones now need to use the same power cord, hopefully they force that onto Apple too. That'll be just the beginning....hopefully.
