Unless a full game drops to $40, it's not worth not having a disk to prove you actually own the software and aren't just buying a license to play it which you can't do anything with once your done, not even enjoy it's presence. It's just a file on a list, you can't justify it compared to a real collection of carts and disks that you can display and collect and own.

They don't even start on the next game until the engine the others have worked on goes final though. I'd say it has closer to a 13 month development time. Not 2 years.

Yet again, what criminal activity? Writing software/documenting/circumven ting security of a device you bought and own? Yet again, GTFO idiot. You don't want to own anything, do you?

A criminal for what? Writing software/getting around "security" of a device he owns and bought? GTFO.

I love people that say this, because black ops was total f***ing garbage. BETTER THAN COD4? You mean the game that not only set the standard for COD, but ALL FPS games forever? Lol, not in a million years. I mean, COD4 plays better than Black Ops. COD4 has explosives that can actually kill people if used skillfully. COD4 even has better graphics than Black Ops. COD4 has the better campaign, too. It DOESN'T have 15 selectable kill streaks. (Very important) And its snipers can actually kill...

No, that's what the Wii and SSBB is for already. Now go wave your body uselessly for terrible control since that's what you requested right there.

Need word processor, excel, powerpoint? Libre office. Heck, libre office kicks Microsoft office programs a$$es. And basically every big program worth a damn has not only a Linux equivalent, but it also can even use and save as the originals file type on top of it.

When I switched over to Linux for main use, there's only one program I don't have an equivalent for which is a NES screen tool for all the NES programming I do. Unless you do something very specific like NES...

In 2006, a tri-core 3.2Ghz processor was unheard of. Plus, the graphics card was better than anything then, too. No, it was the better piece of hardware when released. Yes, time has caught up, but there's no facts to be had in that statement.

Fun fact for all 60 FPS Nazis: the eye can process 10 to 12 frames per second.

Well, whoever doesn't care is just a giant f***ing tool...a big, stupid tool.

And it's voicing your opinion, not just "whining on the internet" dipwad, that's what voicing your opinion is for christs sake.

Unix is better, but not a Mac OS. Mac OS is so stupified and watered down, you can't call it anything Unix, as it's destroyed. Anyone who believes that just because it was a Unix product 15 years ago today it better because the corporation tell them is an idiot. You're an idiot, Mac can't do gaming at all, it can barely display graphics in the first place.

And to my guy on my reply: Standard drivers for what? USB runs a program over it to detect it first, para...

No, PC gamers (from the earlier news thread) need to shun Mac into oblivion and accept Ubuntu as a platform. Mac is _WAY_ overpriced, crap hardware (DeathStar hard drives, anyone?), and proprietary just to charge more money for the same thing and call it "special" and "better." It even has a Linux core like Ubuntu, only stupified throughout the years. I'm actually sad it uses a Linux core like Ubuntu, it gives Ubuntu a terrible name. It has no advantages over cheaper P...

Ubuntu is a PC, it runs on the same IBM hardware a "PC" is supposed to. So does that mean the Humble Bundle games and such aren't really gaming because it runs on Ubuntu too?

So you're determining what a "PC" is by if it the same executable file of a OS you expect? Okay, sure, you're wrong though. If BF3 came with a Linux build, would it be considered a "PC" then? Lol. You make no sense.

There's other OS's besides Windows, like Ubuntu. It's free, does everything you could need as long as you don't run custom software (Even then, just ask them for a Ubuntu .deb, porting is pretty painless depending on libraries used.), runs great with and uses 8+ core processors to their full power unlike windows games, and is just an all around good option too. Plus, even if you do get a Windows PC (Like me) dual booting is a snap, too.

Yellow was red in a box with an altered story. It was stupid everyone says that for Pikachu, but Pikachu is one of the first Pokemon I get in Red anyway if you know what you're doing.

Yelow better than Red, that'll be the day. LOL.

Because those games are so many different Genres, spinoffs, engines, etc. It's not same shit different year/name all the time.

I've done many NES projects, including a full sized retail game. I can tell you for a fact I myself copy, paste, and use lots of old/objectified program. But I also do change lots of code even when I do so, too. I take test programs, put useful parts them into my real game engines, and edit them until they're right for it. They don't even do that I can garuntee it. Same file formats, same game engine, different graphics. That's about it, barely.

Design a game?...

Only games worth $30 to them are worth $55 on craigslist because it came out 2 days ago, pull your had out of your @$$, there's no deal to be had.
