I'm sorry, but how legitimate is this site?
Two things:
1. Agree with the point about Famitsu. Once upon a time, getting a really high score for them meant it was an awesome game. Now, they'll give 8's, 9's and 10 to several games that end up landing around 60 to 70 on Metacritic.
2. Metascore isn't the same as Metacritic's user score! Battlefield 4 scored 86 on PS4. The user scores on Metacritic are the least sensible indication of anything ever.
Agree extremely much.
Amen
@EasyOneTwoThree
Not to spoil, but how that game keeps reinventing itself even 40 hours into the game was what really amazed me. Agree that the team AI isn't always superb.
I'd think it was ironic if he produced more in-depth analysis than actual gamers, but he's a comedian so I'd sort of expect him to be funnier.
Conan does know his stuff, though.
I feel like they've tinkered too much with the original. Still satisfied with the old version, but people who haven't tried FFX yet, should. Might be the best videogame soundtrack of all time.
@4sh0w
You're right. DirectX uses Direct Input among other things to help programmers deal with different types of drivers and computers. It could probably still be helpful for consoles, though. Maybe save console devs some hardcoding.
We'll see at GDC.
Ok, great. Now, thanks to you, we'll probably get another article about how the comments section on N4G is sexist. Why did you have to call her a cow? Why couldn't you just phrase one single sentence without a derogatory term? Damn it, man, you doomed us all!
@GreenRanger
I know, right? Although the fan gets a little loud once the console hits 88 miles per hour. Also, Call of Duty: 21st Century Warfare was a carbon copy of MW2.
Personal favorites are PS2 and Game Boy Color (among handhelds, anyway). Thought last generation was really good across the board too. Not much reason to suspect this will be any worse.
No, PS5 is. They really hit the nail on the head with that quantum computing thing.
Sony Santa Monica employees, Amy Hennig and Jack Tretton. Don't know which one I'm most sad about leaving. I'm hoping SCEA has their act together.
@Vipre77
There's this thing called Google. No reason to posts what you think on the Internet, when the facts are right in front of you.
Anyway, Crash has never had anything to do with Rare. Since Naughty Dog and Sony worked with the franchise from '96 to 2000 the franchise has belonged to many different punlishers - none of which are MS or Rare. Naughty Dog were the creators of the franchise, but I'm guessing you're thinking about Banjo Kazooie, who w...
Unreal! Santa Monica and now one of the top dogs (pun intended) at Naughty Dog. This is sad to hear.
Extremely tired of websites turning every guess or statement by DemonNite and Thuway into news. First of all, we'll hear about the games soon enough, what's the use for all these rumours except the hype? Second of all, are these guys every held responsible when they're wrong? And can they ever be wrong? A lot of what they say are just vague stuff probably not even meant to be published by a site.
Hahaha! This game is basically free on retail by now. At this point Games with Gold seems to be worse than nothing for MS's reputation.
@ExPresident
Well, the people are as educated as socks, so what do you expect. You should expect someone like Bush, but instead we got someone like Obama.
Congress is pretty messed up, but the administration is far better than what we can count on electing with the current moronic electorate.
That's... not entirely accurate.
Anyway, how can Thuway confirm anything? This article is even labeled (correctly) as a rumour!
Anyone ever heard the phrase/antithesis "rumors confirm that..."?
