He apparently gives a fair share to charity, so that's something. I like PewDiePie. Sure, I don't think he's the best YouTuber, but he's pretty funny.
We can certainly agree that Nintendo's advertising has been abyssmal compared to Watch Dogs, but does it really speak to the Wii U's advantage that Mario Kart has little presence?
Of course not. If anything, you're backing my point, in how much less Nintendo games have become to the mainstream market (excluding 3DS).
Mario Kart 8 did not outsell Watch Dogs by any measure. Watch Dogs passed the 4 million mark in one week. Even if it is on more syst...
Cheer up, people. There are a lot of racing games coming, and while you might not be interested in all of them, there's hardly any reason to hate.
Double post, sorry
Well, Forza Horizon 2 is an open world racer. It's not like Drive Club would have been open world if the developer had been good enough.
How does Forza Horizon 2 have better clubs, though? Can't recall hearing THAT much about either Drive Club or Forza's clubs.
@wonderfulmonkeyman
That elegantly missed my point entirely. I'm sure Mario Kart will do well, as it always does, but MK8 is hardly just a "start". Last gen, it was Nintendo's number one game.
MK8 doesn't forebode anything. This is it. And if Nintendo can't beat Watch Dogs with MK. There's some chance they can't beat it with anything.
Not to be a downer, though. I kinda like the Wii U, and I really like Nintendo, so ...
Is it really the start, though? Mario Kart Wii was the second-best selling game on Wii with 32 million sold. Only beaten by a game that shipped with every console. It's an absolutely huge franchise, yet Wii U still struggles to keep pace with PS4.
Please never use caps lock, unless it's for comedic purpouses.
Indies have yet to sell a console, as Vita and Ouya can testify to. Also, both Xbox One and PS4 are great in that department. PS4 already has a pretty serious indie library.
Even with MK8 just released, PS4 was boosted past Wii U by the non-exclusive, not THAT highly rated (not 90+) AAA game Watch Dogs. PS4 and Xbox One is going to get AAA games of this size and scope all the time, and while...
I couldn't see any actual source, so I'm sceptic.
Could for instance have sworn PS3 passed 360 long ago by now, and seeing how it has sold consistently better since the new generation begun, I'm surprised to see that they're equal.
I think she did pretty well this year. Maybe not that great last time she hosted, but one of the better hosts at this year's E3.
Damn, I miss Jack Tretton, though. And where was Phil Harrison?
I don't think Gamespot is a robot hive mind. They have different reviewers with different opinions.
Also, if that handheld game was Zelda, then it's not THAT weird, in my opinion. That was a great game. Also, if it was Tearaway or Pokemon, fair enough, it's their opinion.
This actually makes me less likely to buy the game.
Still pretty sure I'll buy it, though.
According to Naughty Dog's traditions, this should have been an Uncharted racing game :)
I feel pretty certain that it's not the last Uncharted. As he says, maybe the last from Naughty Dog, or even the last one with Drake. Maybe the next one with Drake would be a prequel.
If Sony has the balls to terminate a video game franchise that makes that much money entirely, however, then all the credit in the world to them, but I seriously doubt it.
Yeah, but Watch Dogs also served up real time footage, only to have it tuned back before release.
Anyway, they say it's an actual level in the game, so at the very least it's cut-scene graphics. Which is nice.
I wonder if Uncharted will actually look like anything close to that, because that trailer was beyond amazing.
I thought Sony or Ubisoft had the best conference. Really thought Nintendo would get the honor, seeing how Zelda looked fantastic, but the rest of their press conference was kinda lame.
Pricing strategies are often less creative than one would think. PS4 is selling well at the current price. AKA, no price drop inbound yet.
Sony is obviously gonna bring the numbers.
Why?
1. They always do.
2. They actually have great numbers now.
Last guy has the most boring wishes ever! I mean, the topic is wishful thinking, so why not go a little nuts?
'Hardline is MP only and is priced at 39$.' What, does that fulfill your lifelong dream of saving 20$?
'Skyrim remake for PS4/Xbox One bundled with DLC'. If anything, that sounds likely and mundane. You could wish for anything! Why not a new Elder Scrolls altogether?
Let me show you how it's done:
The article mentions Gears of War 3, and actually there was a surge towards more split-screen last generation. Uncharted 3 had split-screen - Uncharted 2 did not. All the Call of Duty games had split-screen - the later ones had split-screen online. The first Motorstorm did not have split-screen - the later ones did.
I don't think it's dead, but it has certainly taken a jab this year. Oh well. I hope to god Battlefront 3 will have split-screen.
