Lack of knowledge about what you're purchasing is never a good thing. That is why season passes should be treated as the video game equivelant of marriage. You only get it with a game you love and trust.
Also, Shadow of Mordor looks like Assassin's Creed. Like there aren't more than enough of those games already...
I agree. I just think Motorstorm's crash physics were largely based on panels being removed from the vehicle, while here they stay on, but get damaged.
Also, I remember people giving GT5 a lot of crap for its damage system, but surely it doesn't lag that far behind these two, generation leap aside? Bumpers could get torn off in GT5. Generally, the car could become pretty unrecognisable.
(The premium cars with max damage turned on, anyway)
Another thing that makes Driveclub a big step away from Motorstorm.
Wasn't Sony? Apart from PlayShare and YouTube Sharing (which is kind of about the games too), I thought they spent surprisingly little time on PS Now and PSTV, and no time at all on Morpheus.
The demo was brilliant. Never been scared that much by so little.
@RegorL
Certainly. It's very unusual for developers to not at the very least hide details until you approach them.
It's commonplace to continue loading from disc after the loading screen is over. In many games, for instance Rainbow Six Vegas 2, you can even see details and textures being loaded after the loading screen is over.
Absolutely agree.
@Jdoki
Are you saying that's not what actually happens? :P
I was thinking that track may not fall in the "under 10 sec" category, but I'm guessing it's still around 10 sec? We'll see, I guess.
Was thinking the exact same thing (about GTR, anyway). I thought Nissan and Sony were best buddies after GT5: Prologue.
I think Sony is playing a bit of a dangerous game with Japan these days. Late release (later than South Korea), few Japanese games and so on. Next year will be better, though.
Indeed. Another thing, is that shouldn't there logically be more PS fans than Xbox fans, so in that sense they'll be louder because they are more people?
PS3 outsold 360 at a higher price point and PS4 is outselling Xbox One. It seems that there are simply more PS fanboys out there. Sony has been around for quite a while too. One would think they've had some time to get some fanboys on board.
That's about a million individually modelled trees in 10 seconds (in Canada). We've come a long way since punching cards.
Really don't get the impression that Sony fanboys are more terrible than any one else. Rather, I think the most insufferable fanboys tend to be the ones whose console is doing well. Right now, that is Sony.
Obviously, the whole PC Master Race wave has some really awful individuals in it. So much so, that they had their subreddit closed at one point, but thankfully, there's /r/pcgaming where the good people are.
Also, a few Nintendo fans are consiste...
For some weeks now, yes. Then Xbox One has yet to release in 29 regions and people (at least on N4G) do tend to call Xbox One a failure too, even though it's obviously a bit premature.
Same goes for the Wii U. It could certainly go on to do well.
Holy smack, that was scary. And incredibly well put together. Very impressed by the demo.
I think people are talking about how it has performed globally when they call it failed.
It's never been common practice to buy AAA titles on a whim. With PS4 potentially doubling Xbox One in sales and Sony having a large line up of first party studios, chances are they won't have to buy any titles to have an impressive AAA line-up at all.
Such an incredibly misleading article. Hellblade is not exclusive at all, Hollowpoint is a timed console exclusive and there was no statement made on the exclusivity on PT (Silent Hills). If anything, it's fair to assume that it's not exclusive.
This is what downvoting pages on N4G is for.
I agree it's for the wrong reasons, but judging by N4G, it seems to be what most people are talking about, so I'd say that runs contrary to how ThunderSpark suggests you know you won E3.
That was all.
Then again, Lara Croft's exclusivity deal with MS is taking up the nr 1, 2 and 4 spot on N4G's top news list riht now.
I really like that there's more satire these days.
This industry has always needed to take itself less seriously and maybe it's starting to.
Not to take credit or anything, but...
