Obviously. Microsoft has no presense in Japan.
I wish Monster Hunter would release on PS4. Could be awesome as a huge, big-budget game, if they coul pull that off.
Also, The Last Guardian and Ni-Oh are still on the list. That's something.
Pretty one-sided text, and I think the external USB drive-argument is pretty indicative for the reasoning in the article.
Yes, Wii U is the only console that allows for USB storage, but it's also the only console shipped with as little as 32gb of memory. I'd rather have a console with an actual HDD.
Also, the "everyone loves Nintendo games" and "Wii U is doing well again" arguments don't hold that much water. Get some data. I m...
I was wondering the same thing. Guess every journalist is striving to be like BuzzFeed these days. Which raises the question, why would anyone strive to be like BuzzFeed?
So many questions...
Agreed. I'm all for pre-emptive action.
Surprisingly, this has so far been the only comments section on N4G to not warrant that comment.
Yeah, I'm disappointed that the changes weren't validated properly. The prospect that they could have changed the controller in some ways, however, is quite real.
The first DS3 controller I bought (when Sixaxis got rumble) was not only heavier than the original Sixaxis, but also heavier than later DS3 models. I'm sure they'll make some subtle changes, and I'd be annoyed if they didn't fix that the sticks tend to peel.
If you don't care much about owning the game, then yes, games like Journey would be great bargains as one-time experiences.
Wow, this did little to nullify the criticism.
Not saying that I agree with the criticism, by the way. I'm incredibly excited about The Order: 1886, but this list was far less substantial than I would have thought.
EDIT:
Also, "it uses motion capture technology"? Really? I'd dare you to find a game with a similar budget that doesn't. Even Driveclub uses motion capture for the drivers!
Jesus Christ, just don't click on the article (or, yes, leave N4G). It's only clickbait if everyone pically click it.
I really liked the Destiny beta. I also thought Watch Dogs would be kind of mediocre to begin with, so I guess reasonable expectations have saved me a lot of disappointments.
@Chevalier
Yeah, PlayStation does have a lot of typically exclusive franchises that should make an appearance sooner or later. The Tales Of games and Atelier being more of those.
@OtakuDJK1NG
Not really. Is there any reason why all of them should be pushed back any more? Also, TGS might reveal something. I really feel like PS4 needs a good JRPG to make it abroad.
@MSBAUSTX
I should hope so.
I'm guessing the PS4 will pick up in 2015 once Deep Down, Bloodborne, Final Fantasy, The Phantom Pain and Kingdom Hearts hit the market. I'm surprised, though, that the sales have been that slow. Haven't they been able to get any of the JRPGs from last year's TGS on the market? I remember there being dozens...
To be honest, that sucks.
I know, I know. Blablabla the game is gonna be better. Blablabladon't release half-finished product.
Well, I was expecting a finished product in 2015, so yeah. Oh, well. 2015 is going to be fun nonetheless.
Also, for these kind of articles, start the title with "Why", e.g. "Why Star Wars Battlefront could be...", so it's obvious that it's speculation and not a news piece.
Awesome. Wonder how I've never heard about the Mirror's Edge rat before.
@paddy95
First of all, LBP Karting was created by United Front Games, who made ModNation Racers, so I don't see how that's relevant. They're not a studio for hire, and for what it's worth, I thought LBP Karting and even more so ModNation Racers were good games.
A Platform for games was LBP2's motto. They're probably not gonna reuse the same tagline every time. LBP1 didn't use that motto. Also, I'd like to see LBP becoming more about Pl...
They're hardly the plague of the industry. I think you'd be surprised how many games are made with the help of contracters or by how many talented game studios also do contract work.
As for LBP, I think the formula is good, it'll probably do well in anyone's hand. So Media Molecule and Tarsier can keep doing what they want.
Seems to me that the developer was speaking more of new hardware in general, but if you guys want to have a PC vs console fight, that's cool too.
Depends, are people going to listen?
What I meant was ridiculous, is exactly what I said: Wanting the PS4 version only to have the best experience.
The PS3 version is just as good as ever. If you can't afford to upgrade, then don't. Or wait for a price drop. Surely, it's not that much of an upgrade, anyway. Also, you got to experience the game a year before everyone started spoiling it, so that's something the newcomers won't get.
As I said, a discount would make sense, and ...
Title is subtle
