I thought so too, but I think I tried that. Maybe I did something wrong though, because it was a little too silly for it not to work. Like people carry around USB sticks outside of work anymore.
A bit bummed that you can't copy music to the HDD. At the very least, I hope I can connect my phone and won't actually have to use a USB stick like you have to to transfer pictures.
Cut reviewers some slack. Sometimes it seems like video game journalists either are burning every game at the stake or that they're on corporate paylists. They seem to have very little wiggle room before they're branded as either one.
As for reviewers being ridiculous in the last few months, Bayonetta 2 has received incredible reviews, Alien Isolation is at 80 on Metacritic, Destiny at 77 even though many users are criticising it. The Evil Within is at 76, which is go...
Right. Somehow you know that I'm against banning the game, yet you construct your entire argument as if I wanted to have it censored.
It's perfectly reasonable to criticise something we don't like. People thought the movie After Earth sucked, and the world criticised it accordingly. That's what going on with Hatred. I never suggested we'd either censor or ban the game. People do actually take offense of something without experiencing it first hand. That...
I did say that I'm not adressing the debate of whether or not this game should exist. I'm however, never a proponent of inhonest marketing, and that's what these guys are doing. It's not like 'politically correct' games like Super Mario Galaxy keep you away from the controller to push its correctness any more than Hatred does the same to push its political incorrectness. I mean, "Just a game" to these guys just happened to be "Elliot Rodger Gone Wild&quo...
The developers aren't being honest, though. They say that this is a cut-to-the-chase game that doesn't bother with any motives that typically justifies killing in other games. We are to believe that this game skips all the make-up and just gives players what they want, the gameplay itself.
Yet, from the trailer we see that that's clearly not what we get. We get an actual story about a deranged psychopath who is out to carry out crimes that are similar in action an...
The problem, as far as I see it, isn't really the gore. It's that you're playing an Elliot Rodgers-type, someone whose out to take revenge on others for ignoring him. This isn't 'No Russian' without make-up. It's 'No Russian' with a different make-up, and that make-up happens to be an obvious reference to real life tragedies. A tragedy that's likely going to happen again within a year's time, and again, and again, and again.
If you...
You're misunderstanding. I agree that it would probably have stood out for PS4 users if it was a PS4 exclusive, or for Xbox One users if it was only on Xbox One. My point was that it wouldn't have stood out in the same way if it was another PS4/Xbox One multiplatform game.
Between the massive hype trains that have been Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's Creed: Unity, Dragon Age, Destiny, Alien: Isolation, FIFA, Madden, NBA, NHL, and the two console's exclusives lik...
I don't recall the first Bayonetta, which has a Metacritic score of 90, getting much press in advance of its release at all. Obviously, you're right that games that score 90+ get their share of the limelight, but this has been fronted as part of the Wii U frontline pretty much since its announcement.
Seems like a smart move by both Platinum and Nintendo, in other words.
Are those specs remarkably low for the price? 4GB memory at 549? I'm honestly asking. I don't know that much about pc building.
I have sincere doubts that Bayonetta would have gotten this much press if it had been just another game on PS4/One.
It's great that it's great, but when I eventually get a Wii U, I doubt I'll be getting it.
I agree that it does a lot of what games already do to a large extent, just without the make-up.
Then again, wouldn't you agree that they've walked an extra mile when they put in a background story about a person with severe mental issues who is out to get everyone? They could've just put you in an open world with guns and said "Have fun", but nope, they had to make the main guy into Elliot Rodger + the guy from The Darkness.
@YellowTempes
Amuse might not sound like much, but S2000 is one of my favourites from Gran Turismo. Nissan Skyline and GT-R are classics too. Mazda is obviously awesome. Toyota has a lot of nice cars. Then there's Honda and Mitsubishi.
And all the other weird stuff no one has seen outside of Gran Turismo. Autobacs, Tommy Kaira, etc...
Haha! Lost it at the part about it "probably" being required by US Antitrust Law. The same laws that have not been enforced on local monopolies held by Wal-Mart, cable companies or Time Warner are going to be enforced on Super Smash Bros Brawl? When was the last time the government ever split up a monopoly? Sherman Oil in 1890?
Ah. This is funny, whether it's intended to be or not.
That's not even what I wrote. I said it could easily be the case that the uploader has made it, not that it would be easy to make.
Seeing how many talented modders and aspiring video game developers are out there, I wouldn't be surprised if someone managed to make this, be it a homage or homework.
Any reason why this isn't something the uploader has made? Seeing how unfinished this is, I feel like that could just as easily be the case.
"PS4 vs Xbox One: Sony keeps widening the gap with each passing month"
If so, it sounds like a really weird porno.
I agree that it's horrible that they still haven't implemented weather, replays or photo mode, but it's not like it drags the game down THAT much. Racing games to me are about racing, and in that respect I think it's an awesome game.
