They're talking about the cast, right? And would you ever expect the gameplay to represent fans of all genres?
All I know is, that unless they have a 30 cent McDonald's Ice Cream in there, I won't feel represented.
Awesome! I hope it's controlled with a Wii Fit-style board!
Jk, I'm not that awful a person. I want a classic THPS-style game.
Sony probably didn't have to pay anthing. The Last of Us was a brand new game when it was remastered, and was probably reviewed as one. Some of the Halo games are showing their age. They're still great, but no fps from ten years ago could compete with a recent game if released for the first time today.
People gave the Killzone Trilogy a lot of trouble for the first Killzone too.
That was an incredibly accurate cosplay. He even got the powers right.
Agree with poor battery life and fragile sticks, but that's all I agree with. I love the controller as is. Also, I prefer bad battery life to AAA batteries.

That part about Sony not taking risks because of financial peril makes no sense. First of all, we know PlayStation takes risks all the time. Journey, Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet, Wild, Rime and many more are testament to that. It's one of PlayStation's defining features.
Also, is it more of a risk to take your projects more seriously?
If anything, I'd say Sony has started taking their products, especially their phones, more seri...
Sony has really been playing a dangerous game with Driveclub, PSN downtimes, slow PSN and slow updates over the last months. I really hope they get their act together.
What was different between the two?
@MysticStrummer
The market can want something that's a bit ridiculous. In fact, it does that all the time. I think remakes are more about being cheap to make, than that they sell to plenty of people. There are obviously exceptions like The Last of Us, which sold incredibly well.
For what it's worth, I can see why some people prefer Firefox. I just thought I'd put your mind at ease in regards to the scariness of Chrome.
I thought this was just going to be a cool-looking tower defense game, but this is turning out to look like one of the most ambitious titles out there.
I have been using Chrome since it came out and have never had any problems with pop-ups. If Chrome's own pop-up blocker isn't doing it for you, there's always third party software, I guess.
A first impression is really just one impression.
@InTheLab
That depends entirely on who is doing the porting. The Last of Us Remastered was made by Naughty Dog, and while one could argue that they learned from it and so forth, it's undeniable that it took up the time of one of two ND studios. If it's ported by Bluepoint, then I guess we'll just have to wait for Blast Factor 2.
I'm sure there are plenty of people who haven't gotten the chance to play it, but isn't this remakes trend getting a bit ridiculous? They're remaking games that came out only a couple of years ago and games on consoles that are still perfectly available for sale or to be borrowed from a friend.
There used to be backwards compability for those who didn't get to play games on older systems. I hope PS Now will have that area covered in not too long.
...
The Uncharted games were in HD. Not 1080p, but HD. God of War 1 and 2 were remade in HD on PS3, 3 and Ascension were in HD from the get go.
How many remakes do people want? It's been three years since Uncharted 3. It still looks great on PS3. There's this brand new thing called the future. It's grand.
I'll bite! How would R&C be better on Xbox One than on PS4?
This is a new take on the original story. A reboot. The last one was an HD re-release of the PS2 game. A remastered version.
Insomniac are making a new IP. It's called Sunset Overdrive. And there are tons of original R&C games, so I don't see the enormous need for another original one just yet. They've had annual installments since 2007. I'd like to see a new Resistance, but hey, this is exciting.
To me, this is the revival of Q-games. I loved the two first PJ games, and thought Eden was alright and that Shooter was pretty good. After that, they slowly faded into obscurity. This, however, is awesome.
There's no doubt that the higher level cars can give you an advantage in online play. Try going up against GTA Spano with a Marussia for instance. Another race pits RUFs against Gumpert Apollo, which is hardly an even match. In my experience it's rare that the Gumpert doesn't come out on top.
However, I like that there's a little advantage to levelling, so I don't really see it as a balancing problem.
