That was my point.
In short, this was my agenda:
1) To tell the reader that he needs to understand what is an opinion without having it told to him. But I agree, sometimes "IMO" can help mitigate.
2) To tell the writer that he shouldn't care that much about the reader. I know people who read comments here are liable to get upset because someone didn't add "IMO", but the writer shouldn't feel obligate...
If someone says:
"CoD is a terrible shooter", then people ought to intuitively know that it's just an opinion. It will never really be a statement of fact, since CoD being a terrible shooter is largely a subjective matter, and if people don't get that and somehow think something like "That's not true! I enjoyed CoD. He's lying!", then they need to work on their processing skills.

Just because you consider them two different devices doesn't mean people in general do. Sony considers iPhone a threat. Nintendo and Apple consider each others threats to, as they've taken jabs at each other several times.
Most "gamers" out there don't need much more than angry birds, and iPhone steals those people away from Vita. Now, people like us, who are willing to pay for a gaming dedicated device to up the experience may do so, and therefore iPhon...

Just because you people think iPhone sucks at gaming, doesn't mean most people share your opinion. Logic(wins) is right, the iPhone does compete with Vita mainly because it grabs a lot of casual gamers.

Yeah, how about people actually not buying the game next time around. The problem is that while gamers protest and swear off CoD games, you have people who don't really care at all. Actually a vast majority of them too.
OK, that's not really how the world works. Nor any market anywhere. I mean region locks, copy-locks, this isn't new. But it is a step too far I'll give you that. And I'd like for the industry to be more liberal.

Difference between PC and console is that taking your game over to a friend's house and playing split-screen doesn't happen on PC, and it won't happen on console if this stuff passes. How about killing everybody in the whole wide world instead of this, huh Sony, Nintendo and MS? How about, instead of doing anything even remotely like this you bomb every single nation on the map?

To some extent I agree I guess. The lag was ANNOYING after getting 40 hours or so into the game, but then again I was at that point 40 hours into the game for good reason.
