No, someone who is upset with the current standard of the industry and would like to improve upon it would say that. He's not saying that to excuse his own games, dummy.

I think you'll find good stories are a lot more common in good books, than they are in good games. If the book is a narrative at all, I mean.

Totally agree, but you know it's kinda like crack. You might not like it in the end, but you still need it. Now that I've bought both XIII and XIII-2 I feel like I need to see it through to the end. So I'm gonna buy XIII-3 and then I'm going to shoot myself.

Woo! Definitely liking the line up so far! Just wish they changed the name of the game

You barbarians ever heard of a game called Gravity Rush?

I think the ideal controller would definitely have concave sticks, as well as trigger buttons that resemble triggers like the 360 has. But size, stick placement and all that, I think is pretty much all taste. Also, I personally think that Select and Start are better placed on DS3 and that the D-Pad just wipes the floor with 360's Dpad.

Yup. I think Nintendo needs to realize that the whole world unanymously wants this. In fact, a game like that could bring peace to the middle east.

Get off your asses, Nintendo, you otherwise opportunistic people.

Seems to me if WipEout has ever been easy to pick up and play it was now? Btw, WipEout HD sold very well. Pure and Pulse too

“History has shown us that large numbers of people are never wrong and that the public always knows what’s best.”

How is that your take on history?

The next gen may even have better graphics than the current gen!? And it comes with this new and exciting technology known as 'touch-screen' too?

Well, I gotta get a piece of that.

The Vita is not a very closed platform. Matter of fact anyone can download the PS Suite (Mobile) beta and play and even make games for their PS Vita that will also work with Android.

Meh, I think the really hard games are the games that are hard, period. Not the games that if you turn it to very hard mode they'll be hard. But, of course, if they're tailored for harder difficulties, such as MGS4, then that counts in my book.

Didn't like the list, btw.

Sensationalism usually thrives on the Internet, because each and every article needs to hold its own. With magazines it was so much easier, as you got plenty of quality articles along with the sensationalist drivel they used to attract customers. Oh, and you're right, btw. Good blog

WTH is up with people degrading the term opinion? Opinion and honesty have no place together? Honesty is describing something as you see it. If what you say is wrong, or not in accordance with the opinions of others that doesn't make you dishonest.

...and all that BS.
The article was a response to another writer's article, in which he argued how hard it was to write honest reviews, when you've got friends in the industry.

The response said, in essence, that users trust reviewers to write honest reviews, and not sugarcoat them even if they are friends with the ones who made them. It's a call for integrity and honesty, rather than sensibility and misplaced sympathy. It's not about any opinion in ...

Well, that's stupid. Everyone rips off everyone these days. Welcome to free market 101, btw. If someone gets a good idea, say mobile phone apps for iPhone, it's probably inspired by earlier, less succesful ideas or equally succesful ideas that have earlier only been found on other platforms. Then other people take that idea, say Android, and modify it, say like Widgets and other features tying apps together in Android, if that catches on the original maker of the original idea is like...

Omg, why are everyone getting cramps from using the controllers they like less? Osteoporosis much?

Yeah, usually the idea with having things timed were so that you could say that it was exclusive for a couple of months, and have people buy your console in the belief that that's the only console getting the content. Then months later the publisher could still release the content on other platforms and cash in. Hence the exclusivity deal wouldn't have to be expensive enough to cover much in terms of lost sales on other platforms, and would still get audience to your console.
