I agree, but budget is related to ambition level. More prodcuts - higher ambition - higher budget for ads. So it's not true when talking PS2, PS3, PSP, especially not Vita/PS3 who dont overwrite each other. Sony should get better at marketing synergy (easier said than done), having products promote each other. (Play your PS3 games on Vita would be a good example of upcoming efforts)

I wouldn't say he IS the most important figure in gaming right now, but certainly he's one of the greatest legends in gaming to date. Don't look for a replacement when Miyamoto is finished though, look for someone who does something new.
