LMFAO!
LOL? Ok?
Microsoft already made the Elite, now Sony is making something for users who have something other than gaming as the main priority.
Don't go jumping on your soapbox just yet.
@the guy under me.
You can get amazing quality gold-plated hdmi cables from amazon for $3.94. Better than jacking up the system price.
Oh, cool. So I guess that'd be for people who have things on their mind ahead of gaming.
Care to explain what it is exactly? (If you've any details on it.)
I guess that's possible, though people would crap on Sony for eating their words. (If you remember back, they said something like every PS3 customer being "elite.")
"The device will include the same chipset as the current PS3"
Sounds more like another SKU.
Whoops, that was supposed to be a general reply.
The 360 is certainly not beating the PS3 in every department. It has more games and a bigger user base, and a better online system for now, definitely. I won't argue that. But the PS3 already has use of things like upgradeable HDDs, support for Linux/WiFi/Blu-ray out of the box, HDMI 1.3 and many other things home theatre enthusiasts can benefit from. Also, games do not necessarily look better on the 360, the ports are just not up to par. Oblivion is a good counterexample, however.
...
Well I agree, but you have to realize that is not very surprising. The other 2 consoles will get there games in time, within their first year.
The power supply.
How about giving us more info on EXISTING games and working to make them, rather than starting a thousand projects at once?
Due to the way the game works, you can 90% count out any form on online play. If you read up on the game's fighting engine, you'll see why online play could potentially compromise its precision.
The screen caps seem as though all the PS3 ones were taken under less bright lighting conditions, and is hardly a good comparison at all. Though it is likely that, if they took screenshots in an actually good comparison, the game would palpably look close to the same on both systems.
...
Hah, I was waiting on this.
"Hiroyuki confirms that currently, there are no plans of bringing the demon-slaying game to Nintendo's console."
Talk about a misleading title...
Um, the game is confirmed to be 1080p/60fps FYI. So I don't see what the complaining is for.
I don't think it'll be better than NGS either, but not because it's multi-plat (I'm sure it will be good in that aspect for both systems), but because the AI isn't really good. That is my main concern. Graphically I'm fine with the game.
Agree. Waiting on Ubuntu WiFi. THEN Linux will interest me. (Already alloted 10 gigs.)
As much as I like DMC3, GOW and NG are far better in terms of AI and depth of enemy. DMC is disappointing in that aspect...
Again, I'll restate, this game still interests me. I just don't expect it to outdo GOW3 or NGΣ. Taking an hour to kill some enemies on DMD mode is not fun, and dying in one hit isn't fun either. Contrasting this, killing an enemy that is practically standing, waiting for you to kill is boring too.
I don't mean to sound as though I'm putting ...
Actually the in-game White Engine is quite impressive. The HD CGI is also quite impressive, and I'd gladly have it on my HDTV in 1080p. Nothing to make fun of, especially since you brought it up irrelevantly.
I would switch Microsoft software with Microsoft online services (Xbox Live, because it owns).
