I'm fairly certain all existing SC games are on a Sony console.
I think MS has a deal with Ubisoft for this game, though. <-- fjtorres pointed this out
135/136: I agree with you guys. The probability of that seems very likely.
Kewlkat, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying both games will have to make sacrifices if they went multi, since to balance the games out on both systems they would lose specific elements only 1 system can grant with its res...
Many months ago Kojima said that MGS4 could be done on the 360, but in a more recent interview he stated the following:
"But like I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware. It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD level' that a game will go multiplatform" <--DVD level is a reference to 360
To which Kotaku said:
"Sorry ki...
Hm, I donno.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if SP5 stayed on 360, and I don't think MGS4 will move if it's as big as Kojima wants it to be.
As you said both systems have limitations, but I personally think games turn out better whehn they're not multi since you only have to work with the limitations of 1 console.
I smell Bias:
"Whether you like the simplistic view of Xbox Live or the immersive 3D world of PS3 Home,"
Anyway, Xbox Live is a proven great online service, and Home looks very interesting and fresh.
Hate the Linkin Park too, had to mute. >_<
I am personally only interested in a limited amount of 360 games, otherwise I would have bought the Elite to complement the PS3.
Really, the truth is, it depends on what games you want and how you wish to see them (HDMI 1.3, HDMI 1.2, component, or maybe composite if you lack an HDTV). <-- I'm referring to when deciding which SKU to purchase. For myself, I would always go with HDMI.
It should end when the screen slowly "whites out" while the editors are speaking.
A little slow, are we?
=)
At least now there won't be any more bashing of the game, since everyone gets to play it (not including Wii of course).
Isn't it funny how the major espionage game for 360 says it can't be made on PS3, and the major espionage game for PS3 coincidentally can't be made on 360?
That is, SP5 and MGS4.'
Take your pick, I guess.
**sorry, that should be SC5
There are games on 360 that look better than their PS3 counterparts though.
The PS3 may be capable of better graphics though, if that's what you're saying. It just depends on the developers and the system it is ported to/from.
I'd heavily disagree, although I think PGR4 will be maybe the best arcade racer when it is released.
Wait till the game itself is released.
The Cell is clearly capable of a lot, just look at it's many uses outside of gaming.
If utilised well, some great games can be made.
Heh. My buddy who has a 360 just bought a PS3 two days ago. Now he's obsessed.
Having both consoles is good, you don't miss out on exclusives/superior versions.
Unfortunately I don't have the money for that, but I'm happy with the PS3. I'll still be playing the 360 games I'm looking forward too.
Anyway, relating to the topic, I'm pretty impressed with this game's graphics myself. And to top it off, the realism of driving is very appealing too.
Surprise demos please! =)
*Hopes but realizes unlikeliness*
That these people should stop forcing 360 owners into getting/not getting an Elite and let them decide if they have a need for it or not.
Hm. I know what you're saying. Some people probably lose interest in this game because it's a sim.
If I want to play a great sim, I'll play GT. If I want a great racing game, it's gotta be PGR.
That's nice, not enough games really use it.
It's a sim. Nothing to "lol" about, really.
Will be good on both systems.
Rockstar will likely do a good job, I don't doubt them.
