The blend of stealth and shooter elements seems to be coming along quite nicely. I'm anxious to try this game out myself.
Most of the demos shown have the people playing in God Mode, as a developer explained in another video. That is why the AI is unable to kill the player.
I assume you're talking about the overhead view, no worries, the third person view was added in Subsistence and is default in MGS4.
They were outright asked if it was a "complete" exclusive or if it would appear on the 360. Kojima didn't bother to take the question, so Imaizumi simply teased the audience with an indirect answer. Kojima has already stated that he wishes for Solid Snake's story to end on PS3, no matter what they say, the rumours will continue -- and as Kojima said, the rumours create hype and interest around the game, so he's not tired of the question. But as he said, the game is aimed for the mov...
I usually go for IGN/1up too but even they make mistakes, like IGN's review of God Hand.
I realize you're joking but Edge giving a low score is nothing to fret about, great games will get 8s and flawed games will get 5s, yet random/unknown games will also get 8s.
It's definitely odd. Let's not forget Space Giraffe getting the same as BioShock.
Edge is pretty well known for their tough review scores though.
This is the new GC 2007 playable demonstration of MGS4, however, it is nearly identical to the Metal Gear anniversary demonstration. The 2 major differences I noticed were: different CQC technique on the first guard, and the Metal Gear Mk.II failed to stun the enemy on his first attack.
Point the article's real source to an actual reliable site with these numbers, and not a forum post, and then I'll approve.
They know people will likely buy both, so it will only increase their profit.
Keeping MGO and MGS4 separate is a good way to cover up for MGS4 production costs without making the game multiplatform. Either way, I'll be picking up both. Good to know that MGS4 will have some online abilities though, hopefully some downloadable content. That'd be sweet.
A spinoff on the Wii or handhelds, I can see that happening. The actual KH sequel however at this point I'd expect to see on PS3 whenever it's made.
Interesting read for anyone interested in this game. Credit goes to Zilver for the find.
I'll have to take your word for it then mate.
Kojima tells a joke about his Rumble Guy in the office. Right now, he has nothing to do. He's worried about what will happen to him from here on out. He hopes to give him work one day.
HAHAHA
In other words, a 360 version of MGS4 won't be confirmed at this particular event.
Q&A period.
"11:49 a.m. -- In Japan, will Online and MGS4 be seperate or one package?
"It's difficult to explain," Kojima says (through his translator. "We can't really say specifically."
Dude re-asks. He wants an answer!
"We haven't really decided," he says. If you buy MGS4, you'll be able to play some part online at least. They're discussing how much further that online component will go."...
I think it was the same 4 boss trailer. It was just shown again at the conference too.
Probably, though it isn't really clear.
