It seems to be the equivalent of a Substance/Subsistence for Portable Ops.
question: does Famitsu do decimal scores? If not then three 9s is excellent.
Yeah the last update to that post was in early July.
Who cares about your opinions, all your comments are spam.
Easy guys, the mildly biased portion of the description is gone, so it can be approved now.
MGS3's servers were shut down a while ago, so it won't work online at all (at least in North America), but the offline portions of Subsistence/Snake Eater seem to be working fine with the 60GB and 80GB models. Compatibility fixes for the games were introduced for the 80GB model in the latest firmware. Other than that, upscaling/online play in general for PS2 games should be fine, unless a specific game currently has issues with the 80GB model.
Bought my copy for this price, sold the headset for almost that price as well (already had one).
Hence, I payed basically nothing for this game. So the part of the reviews which says "not worth full price" does not apply to me. =D
This was my exact frame of mind at the time of reading this submission's title.
LOL
I agree, though TN themselves did not get money from the Xbox Live service. I'm just hoping they make it free after a while, which happens to most content as it gets older.
If it is really good though I might buy it, since I do love the series.
My mistake. Although since that post did not tag Sigma nor mention it, I could not find it in duplicates. Though, now we know it is priced.
To be fair, I remember downloading plenty of awesome free DLC back on the original Xbox. Such as Ninja Gaiden's Hurricane Pack I & II.
Before anyone brings it up: I know this links to a forum post, but if you check the Japanese Store, you'll see the content.
I hope this content is really worth it though. If not, hopefully they do a timed-price and make it free after a while.
And Ter Heide adds: "We literally can't do this stuff on any machine other than PlayStation 3. If you're developing a multi-platform game, you have to find a common denominator between the systems and say: that's what I'm developing for. Whereas someone focused on a single platform can really take advantage of everything it has to offer."
This is why it can't be done on other systems, and this is true with many exclusive titles. Exclusive games are the only real way t...
They sound familiar, but no movie comes to mind. Lemme check.

Awesome. I'm looking forward to this and Smash a lot, 9.5 is a great score.
@MK Red: true, especially if you look at the other games in the series' review scores. But they state in the review that it's the best one yet.
This is the first Wii news I've seen this high in degrees in a while. Then again, not that surprising as it is a big title.
I agree that the Premium/Elite and 60Gb/80Gb models will battle, but I don't think the Core will take much steam away from potential PS3 owners, but rather potential Wii owners.
And of course the battle of words will continue, it doesn't end.
"Sama" is a title. And stop hating on the PC and Crysis, seriously, it's getting old.
Awesome find. It's pretty long but I'll get to watching it all soon. It seems like it is narrated by the developer for the entire length, so hopefully we'll learn some new stuff about the gameplay mechanics.
True, but the biggest gripe with MGO in Subsistence was the inability to move and aim in First Person view. The online mode with the western elements seems to be coming along pretty well here.
Though of course, no matter what happens with MGO, MGS4 is a definite buy.
I was thinking this too.
"Metal Gear Raiden."
