No thanks. Never in my life purchased micro transactions and never plan to. As far as I’m concerned if you’ve ever bought them you’re a mug. I dont plan on paying more for my games so some little kid doesn’t have to buy a virtual pack of cards. How about parents teach their kids a little discipline?

No they weren’t $60-70 in the 90’s. Everybody always says this because they seen Turok advertised at £70$ and I think there was one other N64 game that also tried it. Street fighter 2 also released at £60 but dropped to £45 about a month later and all games stayed at that price. Their regular price actually ended up being £30-40. That’s 3 games that attempted it but very quickly returned their price to normal yet every body talks as if it was the norm and it was acceptable...
My point isn’t actually about what they’re giving out. It’s about their PR it’s the regularity in which they build up and promote a special date only to what seems intentionally disappoint people.

Don’t know why people get upset about this. Sony do it every anniversary. They seem to specialise in disappointment when they advertise these special dates and It seems every year we moan about it as if we were expecting better.

While I’m looking forward to the game. That video came across as a creepy PR stunt. “Hey guys we’ve gone independent so we really have to push this as far as we can. Use all the buzz lines you can. We have to sell this game!”
When the guy says we’re pushing the next gen systems as far as they can possibly go. You can almost see the guy next to him look at him and say dude calm down with his eyes. Then there’s the creepy Chinese lady in the suit... “fans” - jazz hands
It was also stated that DLSS 4K actually looked better than native 4K as it suffered from no AA artifacting making the image actually look cleaner.
It’s already been confirmed that if your card is DLSS compatible (RTX) even a basic 2060 can achieve 77fps @4K in performance mode. 60fps in quality mode @4K.

What they were thinking I will never know but it certainly was one of the most strange decisions to make. For the devs/PR team to play up how it was going to be the new benchmark killer then to try and release what looked like a Nintendo Switch port was, bizarre. In a word. Just didn’t make any sense at all.
