I’d like to know as the original PSVR is going to work with PS5 are we going to see any improvements to it due to the raw power?

The agenda is to force a digital only console next gen. they will all not stop until physical media is gone. They’re going to take a massive hit on the digital version causing it to sell better then push that narrative through the media that physical is no longer needed & of course people will lap it up because they’re being told it’s the norm. It’s what they should be doing.
That’s the exact plan, the drive costs Sony very little but they will sell that version at a big loss. To try and push sales and drive a digital only future. Lose a little money now but gain massive profits in the future.
I totally agree with digital foundry. Very first thing I thought when I seen the console was Sony’s initial plan was to try and push a digital only version and they panicked at the last moment realising they had to release a disk version. It just looks like the disk drive was just tacked on last second.
Not a big fan of the white to be honest I would prefer it to be subtle like the XBX. I am really looking forward to trying out those headphones.

I’m assuming the enhancements will come as a free update to the original. I mean what they’ve developed was for tech demo purposes for PS5 showings. so it’s served it’s purpose. Although I find it really weird that this hasn’t been explained. Acting like this question hasn’t been asked already is even weirder. But to make a remaster of a game so soon especially while your competitor is offering the smart delivery service, Would be a nail in the coffin.

The industry hasn’t been able to max out bandwidth of a standard SSD yet. If we say the current standard bandwidth is 550mb/s. I think the maximum that’s been achieved so far is 300 something. That’s not even in the same realm of standard NVME never mind these custom console versions.

The original FFVII was a one off and has never been matched in the series. Mortal Kombat and Mario Kart are still essentially just copies of their originals with a few frills.
