I’ve got an RTX 2070 Super also. I would say you’ve got a good card and very good cooling system. The cards themselves are known to run hot and loud. I can get my MSI Armor to run at @2040mhz max with a lot of tinkering and new paste but the cards hellova loud and hot over about 1900mhz.
Although the thermal limit is set at 88’c my card will not allow it to go past 79’c. It can hit that pretty quick and then it’ll just keep clocking down to keep it from going above that.

The noise from the fan is not caused solely from dust. It’s primary function is to cool the CPU. Nintendo have been acting like right scumbags the last couple of generations. I hate to say it but I actually think it might be time for them to leave the industry despite them in my opinion creating the best console ever made in the SNES. I think they’re actually quite damaging to the industry as a whole these days!

This will likely be pretty much identical for PS5 also. The lack of storage in these new consoles is even more stupid than the choice of CPU’s last gen!

@Eonjay the problem is you’ll only encounter that problem if you intentionally purchase the series s, knowing it’s limitations. Whereas everybody who purchases any PS5 no matter what version are all going to have this problem straight out the door. The storage in these consoles is an absolute joke!

The fact that it now matches means nothing. I want to see them both and what features they’re using between them.
You could make it run at 4K 60fps on the PS4 or even the standard Xbox. It would just look like crap. I want more concrete information and details.

I’m already not pre-ordering the PS5 which is the first time I haven’t pre-ordered a console in almost 20 years. I’m waiting to see how it pans out console-wise. I certainly won’t pay £70 for games either.
If the console releases in a good state and is at least comparable to the Xbox I’ll pay asking price for the console. I’ll just wait for the games to drop to a reasonable price.
So after posting that Sony is clearly against providing any free upgrades if possible and getting disagrees from the “Sony - Do no wrong” brigade. Despite Sony pretty adamant about the comments they had been making regarding it. Hopefully this will clear it up for them.
I won’t be buying it anyway. I’ll be giving the money to Demon Souls instead as I think they’ve put more work in and deserve it more.
