These are just free back compatible games. Exact same copies of the game that you would of bought originally on PS4. There are no enhancements at all. To answer your example Apple have the choice to outright decline them from selling anything at the door straight away. That’s perfectly acceptable. It’s Apples choice to allow them to sell it or not. But these shoes also have a huge impact on Apples sales.
If Apple didn’t have the App Store but every other company did have their own. Would anyone buy the Apple product knowing that they couldn’t use their favourite piece of software while they could on other devices?

Apple sell a product and make trillions from it. The work that they put into their product is their own product support. ... Dont know what you’re talking about. The DS4’s had a massively bad reputation. So much so that Sony was forced to release a global public statement that they would replace them all free of charge whether in warranty or not! All retailers were informed to take them back on request and replace for new and back charge it to Sony.

I’m really looking forward to the new pads but worried with all this extra tech in the controller, especially the triggers. How reliable it’s going to be?
After the DS4 fiasco I know they’ve learnt a thing or 2 as the DualShocks are now pretty good but this is new tech to Sony so I’m worried. I went through 4 or 5 DS4’s in the first year of my PS4. They were all replaced for brand new pads free of charge but it was hell of annoying!
After a little reading it appears they’re not patching it at all, it’s just running as is. Therefore the games frame rates are capped so it’ll only reach what the engine lets it.
So not sure how this was even news in the first place!
Love this site. Last gen game only manages to hit up to 60fps on new gen console if run in performance mode.
If it’s an Xbox game it gets ripped apart. If it’s a Sony game it gets gushed over.
I agree with GamerRN I’m not interested in performance mode. This is next gen it should be 60fps in resolution mode!
I don’t buy MT’s and I won’t ever pay above £45 for a game. I’ve done just fine. No need to pay £60 for a game at all.
I don’t think it will be the minority. I think for once it seems like the majority are quite happy not to buy release day at these prices but I guess we’ll see.

... you can try and spin it that way but it doesn’t alter the fact that both people paid the same but one is intentionally blocked from the content for 12 months. Therefor in no way has the same content as the other.

If you paid the same amount of money for the game as I did then you deserve to play the same content. Blocking certain people is a pretty scummy thing to do.

You have to link your consoles therefore I doubt you will be able to download if you don’t have a PS5.
