Does it improve stability tho captain!

While I love the game and the developer. This isn’t their best work technically. I have all their games and this one is their most janky work to date (original and remaster).

Currently playing through it again on PC and I’m hoping they release some decent patches. The start of the game especially is so janky that I thought it was actually broken. I was expecting a lot more from them. The opening car scene with no reflections and the abundance of green absolutely everywhere...

It’s there on the PC. I have the game on the PS4 as well but haven’t checked out there.

Now this is the best news I’ve heard in a long, long time. This is amazing news. Well done Sony!

You’ve won me over with this big time!

I remember having the issue on the PS3. The dreaded Blu-ray drive issue where it would suddenly stop reading discs as well as the YLOD.

Let’s hope all these first batch of next gen consoles Sony and Microsoft are pretty reliable and don’t have too many issues. It never tends to go well for launch consoles tho to be fair.

It’s not compatible out the box whether it’s day 1 or not. It will require the user to update the firmware at some point in time when it becomes available.

If you’re advertising it on the box as compatible then it should be compatible out the box. Hate it when companies do this.

..My big boy comment was directed at people like you having conversations like this. Wasting my time conversing with people with weird homoerotic tendencies for corporations.

@Ron..... ermmm it seems you’re struggling to understand the situation. Perhaps try reading properly this time before commenting...

“Until they implement things I want” is pretty much exactly the opposite of what I said. Advertised features are simply not there and the glaring fault/failure to supply a system able to manage games storage. You’re choosing to ignore that right?

I hate the Idiots and apparent "Gaming journalists" that post these videos! You've uploaded it as a 1080p YouTube video. How are we supposed to see the difference while locked at 1080p???

This is just basic idiots guide 101 stuff. come on!

Most importantly no PS5 backup storage, but also advertised features are missing (VRR, 8K) and I can't condone that.

Personally I have a massive problem with companies deceiving customers/public. I know fine well that the advertised features will be added but you shouldn't sell something saying a feature is included on the box when it's not - I was one of the people who used Linux on the PS3 so I've been stung by Sony before.

8K I'm no...

I’m looking to buy a PS5 but am also waiting for the above to be fixed first.

They’re all completely legitimate concerns. We’re just not silly little fanboys that’s all. We’re adults that can have legitimate concerns about a product and not have weird homoerotic tendencies towards corporations.

I’ll be holding off until the PS5 firmware gets fixed. So they better hurry up because my next gen itch needs scratched.

It requires a fair amount of storage real estate for quick resume which the PS5 just currently doesn’t happen. So I can’t see it happening for a long while yet. Until they get the storage situation fixed.

As is every PlayStation launch firmware. Starts off a mess but they eventually get there. Hopefully they’ve learnt from the past and are quicker at fixing things this gen.

PS5 external storage was a monumental drop of the ball tho. Let’s hope they also get VRR implemented and full HDMI 2.1 support. As they’re advertising it but it’s not included in the sold package so want to be careful what they’re doing as this will turn out like Linux support all over again.

Now this is what I want to know! I would of been happier with a slightly heavier set for a slightly bigger battery tho.

After reading all the latest news coming out I’m almost ready to jump ship from Sony to Microsoft but it’s the tempest engine and controller that’s holding on to me by a thread right now.

Sony need to sort out their firmware quick before they think I’m going to put money down for one!

The Xbox firmware is far superior at this point so I would consider it a tie and an equal score is fair.

2047d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Oh dear Xbox SSD quicker across the board in back compatibility by the looks of it.... expect this story to be deleted from N4G pretty quickly.

2047d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

All recent games are about 100-200gb.

“PS5 external support a non issue” - I’m not even going to explain how dumb that is! Especially when you consider it won’t even let you backup on to storage.

Microsoft shown all their hands ages ago... but yet Sony still doesn’t want Microsoft to know, right? What you’re describing is how business works. If it worked the way you wanted it to we would have 1 single make of phone or 1 single make of TV and no other comp...

This is an absolute deal breaker. Just absolute stupidity on Sony's part, no excuses.

The only possible reason i can think is they are still scared of piracy. But if they want to offer up such limited capacity and compatibility. Then this option is next level stupid!

I assume there will be a firmware release pretty soon to clear up this mess. I'll be holding off ordering one until then.
