People overexaggerate when it comes to Sonic's 3D games. There is nothing particularly wrong with most 3D Sonic games, it's just the mere fact that they are 3D that people can't accept. Then you have sites like IGN that never liked Sonic. A lot of this goes back to their childhood of Sonic vs Mario and Sega vs Nintendo, they can't let it go, even as adults.
I was also a big fan of Lost World too. Not so much the story, but I thought the gameplay was excellen...
Or maybe people should let Sonic evolve past 2D sprites. Stop holding the series back because you're nostalgic for the 90s.
When it comes to GPU's, Nvidia's features keeps demolishing AMD. It's why I won't buy an AMD GPU. They are kicking ass in the CPU department though.
Gen 6, nothing will change my mind. This is where consoles peaked for me. They all seemed to bring something different to the table, after that, console gaming became samey and went in a direction I really didn't like. It's probably what pushed me towards pc gaming last gen.
The game was built into the Master System, so that probably helped a lot. I really liked it, the final level was horrible at the time though. I think I only completed the game once or twice as a kid.
Hardware is a bit more understandable, but when it comes to games, there is no excuse for it, not in a digital world. Having a limited time to purchase games in 2020 should not be a thing.
Yep, this is what people don't get. A CGI trailer from a new IP does nothing for me. You need to show me gameplay or it's meaningless. What am I supposed to be excited about with Redfall's trailer? I have no idea what the gameplay looks like or how it will play, and that is pretty much the only things I care about. I'm not looking for a movie, I'm looking for a game, I didn't see any game here.
A CGI trailer from an already established series is a bi...
Okay, then ask Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft to price their consoles at £1000 then, because you aren't getting 4K 60fps for an entire generation on any console at £500. As time goes on, even 1440p 60fps will be a struggle for some games.
It's just how this works. You want more frames at higher resolution for an entire generation, then you need to pay for it.
But it is powerful for it's price. I mean, even the most high end pc's would struggle to maintain 60fps at 4K in Flight Simulator.
It will be worse because we will get fewer of them.
This thing is the biggest joke going. Tommy Tallarico comes across as a snake oil salesman.
I don't like companies like Ubisoft getting to make a Star Wars game. It's a series you can be so creative with, but these big AAA companies don't have much creativity these days. It's basically the same copy paste games with a different skin.
Seen tons of games exactly like it made by indie devs on Steam that charge less than 1/3 of that.
Get with the times Nintendo. It's good to see Twitch actually stand by their content creators for once.
If anybody is impressed by this, then they haven't played a single game of the same type on Steam. I have seen a ton of games by indie devs that look as good if not better than this. The only difference is that Nintendo will price it ridiculously high.
The gamepass stuff was great, easily the best part about it from my point of view.
How can you be blown away by game when you didn't actually see any of the game?
Imagine focusing on the looks of a character that is only 15 years old......oof.
The way it is being presented makes if feel like a kids show.
