Uh, although I agree with your overall point about it not being worth the upgrade, to say Sony or Microsoft don't pull the same thing is quite simply nonsense. How many Xbox 360 and PS3's did we get by the end? By the end of both console's lifespans, both companies released two new versions of their console.
Last gen we had a PS4 slim and Xbox One S.
The like and dislike button adds absolutely nothing to any discussion and every single site that uses it would be better off without it.
Nintendo fanboys won't care, they don't hold Nintendo to the same standards expected from the rest for some reason. This is the same company that managed to convince their fans to buy cardboard 😐
I never did accept it because I never bought into it. Paying to play online seems like an absurd thing to me.
Xenoverse 2 does the same. Just a lazy cash grab.
And yet, E3 crushes any developer showcase when it comes to interest and viewership. The problem with developer showcases is that they are more spread out through the year, but the average person prefers one big event where everybody comes together.
Same. I am somebody that tends to wait for fighting games because I know that they are going to release a ton of DLC. I may miss out on the online part's most popular period, but I don't care, I'm more of single player person when it comes to fighting games anyway.
I can see it now, fake loading screens to fit in an ad 😑
Try this on pc and we know what the first mod will be for those games.
Internet speed isn't the biggest hurdle though, so I don't know why people keep bringing it up. How far you are away from the data center is a much bigger hurdle to overcome. The further away you are, the more lag you will get.
Geforce Now runs a lot better, so nothing to do with throttling.
Nothing to do with CPU usage, it's the same on both pc's. It's just a problem with game streaming right now, I'm not the only one with this issue, it's common amongst all game streaming services.
This is the thing with streaming, everybody's experience will be different.
UPDATE: This was testing Dragon Quest 11. I tested on 2 pc's, one through ethernet, one wifi, both were terrible. I then tested Streets of Rage 4, it was a bit better, but still had lag and stutters.
Honestly, my first impressions are far from good.
Just tried it on Chrome on my pc and.....oof, what a horrible experience. Audio skipping, picture was very poor quality with low bitrate and lag was pretty terrible. This was through an ethernet connection on a 70/20 internet connection. Unplayable in it's current state.
How can you try and justify this nonsense when you know the money isn't going back towards development costs or the devs themselves? It's going straight into the hands of the top guys at the company.
No.
This money doesn't go towards the developers, it goes into the pockets of the people at the top, like the Bobby Kotick's of the world. People should remember that when these companies try and justify price increases.
Maybe you should actually read my comment properly next time, same goes for djl3485. I said MAJOR JAPANESE game, none of those games you mentioned were major in any way, all of them were new IP's.
The disagree's are also hilarious. Do people on here seriously believe that Xbox wouldn't sell better in Japan if any one of those games I listed were to become exclusive to Xbox consoles? We are talking about the biggest games series in Japan that aren't Nintendo ...
There is only one way Xbox could ever sell a decent amount of consoles in Japan, and that is if they got a major Japanese game exclusive to their console in Japan. So we are talking about Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter or Phantasy Star, but it's never going to happen.
@NintedoPowa
I don't disagree with the fact Nintendo get away with things others get criticised for, but that wasn't what my comment was about. Microsoft and Sony do exactly the same thing with their consoles and nobody seems to care about that.
