I agree. I have seen so many games go under the radar on Steam that are way more fun than this game. I don't know how Hades managed to stand out from the rest.
As for the headline of this article, I don't like it. Saying everybody should play a certain game just doesn't sit right with me. People should play whatever game they feel like playing.
I think you need to read the article again, because it doesn't mean what you think it means. All they want to do is copy what we have here in the UK, and it's as easy to buy loot boxes here in the UK as it is in America, even for kids. So what exactly is there to get excited about here? what they are aiming for changes nothing.
They really should keep things quiet until they are done. Take Two will soon go after them.
The Steam Deck has pretty much made this thing DOA. It was already a tough sell for a niche audience, but now they are going up against something that not only beats them with performance, but price too. The only people that will buy this thing now are those that backed it and want to justify their purchase.
The west is so obsessed with race these days that they hear slurs in everything.
And have Google own Unreal Engine? I can't see how that would ever be a good thing.
Darkborn, that is why you bought the console for $500. You already paid for those features when you bought the console, so you shouldn't have to pay for them again when they are included in a game.
I wouldn't mind a GTA 3 and Vice City remake. I tried replaying those games and they have not aged well. San Andreas is still excellent though.

"starting at $499 for a 64GB version"
You mean $399
Well done everyone, you gave them the attention they were looking for.
So what? Gaming is massive, not being number 1 doesn't mean you can't be extremely successful. Just like car manufacturers, phone companies, broadband providers, more than one company can exist and be successful when demand is so large.
@Imalwaysright
How am I shill? I literally said I don't buy EA's products, it's actually for the same reasons as you funnily enough. The difference is that I'm not wasting my life complaining about it all of the time. What are you people going to do, moan for decades about the same shit? This stuff isn't going anywhere so you might as well just deal with it instead of bitching and moaning every time these companies get a mention.

"Nah. You need to pull your head out of your ass and see the big picture."
What does that even mean? I can see exactly what EA are doing, so I don't buy their product. I don't see the value in repeating the same pointless jokes and complaints over and over again when nothing actually changes. Just accept it, we lost, the market has spoken and you people that can't move on and accept it are the vocal minority. The chance to put a stop to these things ar...
"No. Cause EA is cancer and they deserve all the shit they get thrown at em"
You people sound like children, grow up.
Just saying they are evil pieces of shit doesn't justify it. I don't like EA either, but I just avoid their games, I don't whine and try and hack them.
Don't you people get bored of repeating the same joke over and over again? It's like reading comments on YongYea videos.
" They're held to a different standard, probably due to nostalgia reasons."
This is exactly it. A couple of weeks back, people were getting all excited for a Metroid game that is no better than what you would find from indie games on Steam.
The fanboys are so blinded by nostalgia at this point that they can't see that their games have been overtaken in quality years ago. Every single Nintendo game is overrated to such a high degree these...
This article is missing something here, what about Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Epic, Ubisoft, and EA games being sold on their own platform? Why aren't their games cheaper? None of these companies have to worry about that 30% cut because they all have their own stores where they can sell games.
As for other games companies, what about their games being sold on the Epic and Microsoft store? Those stores take 12% of every sale, but the games are the same price as they are ...
