This is objectively false. PS Now in comparison is garbage. The app on the pc is the biggest joke of the lot. Can't download any games, streaming 720p gameplay with poor latency, it's just awful.

The last time I checked, it still didn't have a search bar. It's a pathetic.

" Oh I know what's different."

There's those conspiracy theories again. Nobody is out to hurt your favourite piece of plastic.

It's more to do with the microtransactions than the actual sales of the game. This is one of the reasons why I hate microtransactions. Basically, if a company hits big with them, they dry up when it comes to releasing new content. If it wasn't for microtransactions, GTA 5 would have had story based DLC and GTA 6 would have been released by now.

I don't know why people bother trying to find hope in games like this. It's not like there aren't thousands of other games to choose from, so why not just move on?

I play on pc and I barely touch the Epic game store. I play Game Pass a lot though, just as much as Steam of late.

This has been building up for a while now. They were testing the waters with PSO2 and PSO2 NGS.

Clueless post. You're just rambling without actually thinking.

What makes you think console gamers and pc gamers are going to suddenly give up their preferred platform for cloud gaming? Even in 10 years time, I'm still going to prefer playing on my pc over cloud gaming. It doesn't matter how far things advance with cloud gaming, I will still prefer to play on local hardware. You honestly think everybody is going to be happy with giving that up?

Get a grip, it's really not that big of a deal.

When I tried xCloud a few months ago, it was horrendous. The lag was unbearable and the picture quality was crap. Geforce Now is the only one I have used that wasn't terrible, but I would only ever use it if I was absolutely desperate.

If people choose to play games this way, then good for them, but it's not something I can ever see myself getting in to.

Some people have forgotten how much stupid fun can be had from gaming, this is like one of those games.

"Believe it or not, there are people who enjoy kicking back on a sofa and playing games on a 65" 4k TV as opposed to sitting at a desk"

Nobody said people didn't like that, so I don't why you bring it up. I can also do that with a pc by the way, I have been for years now.

@--Onilink--

The only real issue you point out there is the GPU shortage, it's a pain in the ass. But at the same time though, anybody that bought one of the RTX 2000 series cards will be fine for a good a few years until things (hopefully) settle down.

You make it seem like the absolute newest hardware is needed to play pc games at the highest settings. When DDR5 releases, nobody will NEED to upgrade to it, same goes for a new CPU. Enthusiast builder...

The reception to this game is weird. Did people even watch the gameplay trailer? That looked nowhere near ready. I fully expect this game to be delayed, because if it is released in 2022 looking like that, then it's not going to do well.

Are we watching the same trailer? That did not look good. Look at the frame rate, tank controls, empty world and poor animations. That looked like a very early tech demo.

The gameplay trailer looked pretty garbage to be brutally honest. Horrible frame rate, empty world, weird animations, tank controls. It didn't look good, it looks like it needs a lot of work.

I don't care if this is an unpopular opinion, but third person action games aren't what they used to be. They have become annoying walk and talk games that lead into cutscenes with bits of action in between full of characters that never shut up talking.

No it isn't. It's just one more place where they exist. Steam has more than any other platform.

When I first watched the reaction of those playing VR, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and my excitement for the possibilities made me think it was going to be great........years later though, I just don't care.

It's not that I don't think it is fun, it is just fun in certain circumstances. For example, when I sit down to relax and play games, I don't want to have something strapped to my head. Also, when I am playing games, I always have something...
