So you're assuming that they wouldn't make money from game sales? Isn't that enough?
You people have been conditioned to believe that these companies need to come up with extra ways to make money. How they tricked you so easily is baffling to me, especially when you see the CEO's at these companies taking away huge bonuses every year.
By full roster, I am talking about characters that are already there but left out so they can sell it to us at a later date. This video demonstrates that some of the characters being sold as DLC are already fully playable. They should be in the game.
Why can't those characters just release with the game? I mean, the content is already there, just put them in the game. Oh wait, of course, fighting games can't just have the full roster at launch anymore, they have to be chopped up and sold to you piece by piece.

Yep. I'm not surprised games companies are afraid to try anything new anymore. What is the point when your work is going to be labelled mediocre or trash and a series like Pokemon can be much worse and still score high just because it has the name Pokemon on it.
IGN sucks either way, but I refuse to believe that people are giving these games high scores on merit. There is no way in hell this game is a 10/10 that some reviewers have given it.
There are a certain selection of games that are allowed to get away with this it seems, and the Pokemon series is one of those games, every other game would be scoring 6 at best if it looked and played like this.
It just looks so bland in pretty much every area. Gameplay, graphics, so dull.
Why do you need that data? Game sales are not Microsoft's number 1 priority anymore, they will take it, but their big chase is more Game Pass subscribers.
What makes me laugh about those that complain about pc's overheating (which is an issue I don't see people ever run into) is that they are the type of people to put their console into a really tight space with barely any room for it to breath.

When it comes to options and sheer volume of games to play, today is better than ever. But 20 years ago, the games industry wasn't as corrupt as it is now, games weren't getting released in a ridiculous mess, and even games journalism was better back then.

What is it that you even have a problem with really? You even say they are adding games to advertise Playstation and to make a profit from older games, so what is the issue exactly? I mean, this is a win win for everybody right?
Also, those games you say are free are not actually free on PS5, they are locked behind a paywall.
You don't even give reasons why you want it to crash and burn, just that every system should have it's own exclusives......but why? Do you need exclusives to justify your purchase? if that is the case, then exclusives are a negative because they force you to buy a system you may or may not want.
