I'm surprised PSO2:NGS wasn't on the list, what a disaster launch that was, and things are still awful now.
It doesn't matter what they say, it's what they do, and so far, they have done nothing to improve the game. All I have seen is them implement things that should have been there at launch, and any new content they bring to the game is locked behind time gates and tons of grinding before you can even access it. The game has so many mobile like gameplay elements to it and I hate it.
This game has ripped the soul and identity away from the Phantasy Star series. Instead ...
I'm not a Playstation fanboy, I don't even own a Playstation console, maybe some people just don't think it's all that great.
I have always said that the game wouldn't be anywhere near as popular or praised anywhere near as highly if it didn't have the name Zelda in it. If it was a new IP, it wouldn't have rated over a 7.
"More money goes to the developers than if you buy on Steam"
Wrong. The devs have already been paid, they ain't seeing a penny of the deal made with Epic.
Even if they did get more money, why do you care? You're the consumer, you should be looking for the best deal for you, not the people working for the company.
You can't give Microsoft credit for that when the game would have been in development many years before Microsoft even bought Zenimax.
Why can't it just be that I prefer the previous voice cast over the current one? By your logic, every game from 10 years ago is worse than every game released today, and if I disagree, it's because of nostalgia.
It used to be Ryan Drummond, but over time Jason Griffith got better and better and became my favourite.
Which is a shame because the current English voice cast is by far the worst. It's nice to have some consistency in the Sonic voice acting area, but why does it have to be with this group?
The only one they kept from the past was Mike Pollock, who has been fantastic as Eggman. I don't know what Sega were thinking when they replaced Jason Griffith with Roger Craig Smith. Roger is a good voice actor, but his Sonic is terrible, and Kirk Thornton as Shadow is way worse. ...
Never seen somebody have so much of a hate boner for pc gaming.
All your post says is that you know very little about pc gaming. The recommended specifications for any game is never truly accurate. Devs will often go over the true recommended specs because they can't test their game on all configurations and it's a safer bet to say something will work on the most powerful specs than something a bit lower.
Don't blame the devs, they had no say, it was Deep Silver that pulled this trick.
The media and politicians never want racism to die. It's their go to tactic for clicks and votes.
It's on PC too.
One of the most overrated games in years.
America is absolutely obsessed with the colour of people's skin. It's so ridiculous now that you can make a mediocre game, move or tv series, but as long as it ticks the right boxes, it will get favourable reviews. Deathloop is more proof of that.
Remember when people would say the 12% cut would mean we would get cheaper games on the Epic store? well, as predicted, it's not happening.
The better cut of the profits and the deal made to make the game timed exclusive on Epic's store wasn't enough for Square Enix, they also want that bit extra from consumers too.
When are people going to stop pretending these companies care about you? the only thing they are interested in is your money.
You make it seem like pc gamers have been doing nothing in the mean time. That is the best thing about having thousands of other games to choose from, you never feel like you are missing out on anything.
When people feel no incentive to buy from the Epic store, the worst thing you can do with your game is charge an obscene amount of money.
I hope sales are in the dirt for this game, but knowing gamers, they will whine but still pay up anyway because they have no will power. Just look at the excuses made for Playstation games.
What person has said it doesn't LOOK good? It's the gameplay people are questioning, and why wouldn't they? It wasn't exactly top tier gameplay, it all looked very scripted.
I like Shenmue 3, but the stamina bar was a horrible move. I'm shocked that they thought fans would like it. I wasn't a fan of fishing (I hate fishing mini games) or collecting herbs either. I also hated how Ryo was so easily beaten by thugs after all of the training he went through. Ryo felt weaker in Shenmue 3 than he did in Shenmue 1. The saddest part was not including throw moves, that is just a weird thing to leave out of a game where throwing moves feature so heavily in the firs...
