I think the new pokemon look great; they're colourful, they're diverse in style and they're all pretty unique in appearance and theme, which is quite a feat considering how many have already been made.

Ah here, Genji's the closest thing we got to an Onimusha on the ps3, we should be thankful. It's not a bad game; who could forget the giant enemy crab? The graphics and the design / production values are pretty awesome too. It got some award for design didn't it?
Alongside Resistance, it was a pretty good launch title.

I'm not trying to be provocative, nor am I some fanboy; Of the three consoles this gen I only have a Ps3 and don't intend to purchase either of the other two. So with that in mind, allow me to say this: I think Infamous is super-mediocre, and whilst this will almost definately be an improvement, I still think it looks like the same sh!t with better graphics. This looks astounding. I've never bought a Mortal Kombat game; only rented, but this looks like a potential buy. It just looks so fun and I absolutely love the way they're harking back to the old games.

You seem to underestimate the temptation surrounding piracy, it's often very difficult to bring oneself to do things honestly when the dishonest way is far easier and brings instant gratitude.
I'm not defending it exactly, but it's not something that you can just stop; especially on the internet. This article should tell you that: A recent, fairly sizeable game downloaded well over five million times? That would suggest to me that a lot of people cave in to piracy.
This game is great. So much fun. The online was unfortunately kind of weak though..
The prince was still the same character in Warrior Within as he was in the sands of time. He didn't become all brooding and sh!t, he was just a bit worse for wear because of the events of the previous game and the fact that a gigantic embodiment of his fate was pursuing him inexorably. I think his look in WW was awesome.
I also think what they've done with Max Payne is interesting. This article's got it all wrong.
No no no, BOF III definately had better music. There were loads of quite complex jazz progressions courtesy of Akari Kaida, and the whole soundtrack was just really polished and cohesive. BOF IV had a lot more tracks but there were loads of sketchy ones. Yoshino Aoki worked alone for IV and so there were a lot of dud tracks imo.
This said, BofIV is definately the best game with regards to gameplay. I actually played and finished it recently for the first time. Great fun. Al...
Argh, just give us a new Onimusha game already! Or a decent up to date Megaman that's part of the main canon. Or even a Breath Of Fire that doesn't suck like Dragon Quarter does. Give us a new one of your GOOD games.

I knew something big was coming throughout both games but that ending just totally came from left field. I loved it. But then again, I really like sci-fi stuff in general.
The ending is done in a very artful way. It was never going to be epic. He died bluntly; his culture swallowed by the expedience of emergent civilization. John simply couldn't be a part of it given his past and he had to die lest he impede the growth of civilization with his "savagery". He was totally outnumbered and his death was never going to be glorious. So many things culminate in that scene; it's too hard and restricting to attempt to describe in a comment.

but omikron is the most hideous and clunky game ever made and messiah is pretty sh*t. At least this game visually looks alright. It could be good anyway. You have absolutely no right to judge from a single, shaky, blurry trailer. Lets get real here.

No more wii and ds games. Bring them back to consoles. A Dragon Quest game on X360 and PS3 is what needs to happen. Dragon Quest VIII was immense; probably the best one to date. The people are crying out for a next gen Dragon Quest game.
