Moon is an out and out sci-fi man. It has a sort of human basis but it's ultimately a sci-fi.
Have you seen The Fountain? That film is also regarded as a sort of drama / sci-fi. It has one of the most sublime and cosmic soundtracks ever which needless to say is of Mansell's design.
I'll admit his music might seem a bit subdued for something as bombastic as Mass Effect but I'll say it again; I think we'll be pleasantly surprised.

Shit looks badass. I love the bit where he like grabs onto that griffin thing's talons... Graphics looks a little bit bland in spots, but there's some pretty cool looking stuff. That Hydra looked incredible!
