It looks good I guess but it kind of just looks like pictures taken of a miniature model city or something. Like a set from thunderbirds or something haha.
People, Versus will come out eventually. Have you even seen that 7 minute gamepllay trailer? The game's very far along in development and will definitely come out next year.
As for XIII-2, I think it's a necessary game. The first game was plagued with issues of communication and conflicts of interest, but it seems like they've gotten their sh!t together for this one. Plus the world / mythos needs to be fleshed out much more; XIII did it absolutely no justice. I we...
Keyboard and Mouse is perfect for fps and rts, far greater than controllers.
Also console games get patches all the time. Developers / publishers use patches as the excuse to release their games ahead of competitors. Games on consoles are just as "unfinished".
I don't really care about graphics but if a game is supposed to played in HD I wanna play it in HD. If i'm playing a downgraded version of a game on a console I feel a bit cheated know...
Hmmm, haven't played the game at all, but I wasn't expecting any 7/10s. Especially from GI. I don't know what to think of this. I'll let a few more reviews roll in.
I mean I honestly preferred the first game to the second, and I was worried the franchise might be on a downward trajectory, so this review is worrying.
"Capelli never develops interesting or likable traits"
"The limitations of his bland personality&...
If I ever learn that this game isn't coming to the west, I'll immediately kill myself.
I don't think graphics need to be any better. But I wish worlds in games were much much bigger. Obviously bigger worlds = detrimental to graphics and performance, so maybe instead of trying to make tiny graphics intensive games with next next gen hardware, developers should focus on making bigger worlds that look as good graphically as games this gen but are simply much bigger and because of the hardware, run much smoother than they would were worlds of such size ported to the current gen...
Yes! This has always been my favourite pokemon game. It's generation being my favourite. All the games that followed just couldn't quite repeat the epicness...
The weapon degradation was a pain, but it kind of made the game more challenging. I mean they got less powerful and protective meaning the game became harder and you really had to be careful in combat.
It'll be a load off not having to worry about it, but I just hope the game remains challenging in other ways.
Gonna be shit.
Er, I hope these two games don't have an actual relationship...
Thumb for this article = the best thing ever.
2 complaints: #1 - Fuck Dubstep. #2 - I wish they'd given Altair and Ezio subtly different animations for all their actions. They're not the same person.
I wanna give her a proper sackload.
Square aren't as good as they used to be I'll admit that, but FFXIII-2 and Versus are still looking pretty outstanding compared to everything else they've put out this gen. If both those games suck, I might concede that Square have lost the plot a bit. However I don't think that'll be the case. I think they're working pretty hard to restore their reputation after a series of what a lot of people would consider to be failures. All i'm saying is don't abandon the...
Character animations are pretty weak, but the damage is sick and it looks like a lot of fun.
There's no escaping the fact that they used as source material an actual location in which some really awful things happen to people. I personally think it's a little bit mindless and tasteless. It's straight up glorifying violence. To the uninformed, this sort of portrayal could make them think of this kind of shit in a glorified manner, which is so far from the reality. I don't think games encourage real violence in people, but I do think this is just really juvenile and cou...
For people who have been playing games all their life, motion controls fail and fail again. But the money they're generating from non-gamers is so massive that I wouldn't be surprised if game companies keep trying to force them down our throats. I fear greed might get the best of them.
A problem I had was when you knife assassinated a guy, it would generally alert the entire camp no matter what you did. I mean you could relocate to avoid them, but it didn't make sense in the first place.
The jamming and the gaurd posts were awesome though. It worked with the setting and context really well.
Malaria was a poorly executed mechanic. It's an example of trying to build in gameplay mechanics relevant to the setting without much thought. ...
What about violent sex? And sexy violence?
Played that game to absolute death, but that was a long time ago. I'm ready to play it again!
