Megaman_Nerd you're a dope.
You complain about the original's graphics then accuse us of wanting it to look like U3? Clearly you're the one who wants that if graphics are so important to you.
Do you have any conception of atmosphere, charm or nostalgia? You've been conditioned to believe that better graphics = better game, but that's nonsense. I still play ancient games that resonate with me far more than a lot of modern games, and I more ...
Not the unreal engine...
Edit: Also this doesn't look like it has any of the atmosphere of the original. It looks so lifeless and drab.
I'm pretty confident there'd be actual physical violence directed at Valve and Sony from the PC crowd if this happened.
While I wholly agree that PC's are better than consoles on a lot of fronts though, I'd still kind of like HL3 to be a Ps3 exclusive just because of how smug PC gamers are.
Has this guy got anything new to say? Sick of these articles.
Honestly, I don't care too much about a remake, I like the game the way it is. Much more charm, and I don't think they could evoke that same nostalgia.
What they need to do though, is friggin well make VII-2 already! The amount of stuff they set up in the compilation was crazy. Secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus??! Hellooo?? You can't just leave us hanging like that Square!!
Eh, no. Because Half Life 3 would never be a ps3 exclusive. That said I do hope it gets released on the Ps3 like Portal 2 did. I doubt my laptop'll be good enough.
I agree but all those console screenshots seem deliberately bad. They don't showcase much, whereas the PC ones seem deliberately more scenic.
Aye. Annoying trend that. It's the internet that's made em' like that. Maybe a little bitta TC too.
Oh and AAL rule.
No. Unless you have ADD.
SUCH a good game. One of the greatest rpgs ever.
They should remake 5 and 6 first on the 3ds or something. That'd give me an excuse to finally buy one.
It looks fine and I'm sure it'll play well, but you can't deny a new Source engine would be great...
1:27 on the japanese one haha "NICE"
My immediate thoughts exactly.
Well the crusades lasted from the 11th till the 13th century, the renaissance from the 14th till the 17th. There's not a huuuge gap between Altair and Ezio's timelines relatively speaking. Roughly a century.
As for fuedal japan, they'd probably do the edo period or something, meaning the 17th till the late 19th and that's not too close at all.
As for imperial China, well, that stretches from BC up till the early 20th century, so definitely so...
Agh why do these articles always come out right after the game's released. How ADD are these people?
Grrr get your hands off my Spyro you evil greedy bastard.
Well the introduction of the character Shao Yun in Embers suggests it could be China, not Japan. And maybe we'll even play as Shao - A female protagonist would be a pretty bold direction for the series. Only how would Desmond fit into that...?
Honestly though I think it'd be a lot cooler if in the central vault, Desmond finds an Animus that lets him live the life of a super futuristic First Civilization Assassin, and then through that he learns how to stop the solar f...
Stupid question. There are sh!tty long games and great short games and vice versa. It's not all about length (In videogames that is.)
I can understand a 7 at least, but this is a joke.
(The game's a 9 for me.)
But looking at those screens, they clearly don't fully understand what it is they're undertaking. Everything about it is completely wrong. The oppressive, gritty and vast sense of Midgar isn't there. It just looks amateur.
I'm sure it's not an easy process, but the fact remains that it just looks rubbish. They seem to be failing to pick up on subtlties that make the FFVII experience so wonderful; make most of the FF's so wonderful.
