@dc1: You're upset that a person who you admit is crazy didn't act rationally? Are you SURE you understand what 'crazy' means?
Me too. Playing as Nightwing would be SWEET.
"Whilst the Batman: Arkham Asylum/City timeline appears to have passed Dick Grayson’s era as Robin, leaving space open for the awesome Nightwing to make an appearance in the future (we can only hope), it could fairly easily fit into Jason Todd’s time of donning the yellow ‘R’, so why skip over Todd and go straight to Drake?"
No, it couldn't. Barbara Gordon is Oracle in Arkham Asylum. That didn't happen until after Jason Todd's death.
@nopunctuation: I agree with you on much of what you're saying, but Doom the first FPS? Not only was it NOT the first FPS ever, it wasn't even the first that id software made.
Edit: This is just a sidenote, and not taking away from any of your other points. The first open world game I ever played was Legend of Zelda. The second was Metroid.
LOL! Just what I was thinking when I saw his post!
Wow. You're still here? Haven't seen you since N4G got redesigned. I thought you'd've been perma-banned by now. Well, at least you only have one bubble, so there's that.
Wasn't this kinda obvious since...oh, I don't know...Saint's Row 1?
I don't see anyone thinking they were just sitting around, chilling, when all of a sudden some guy goes, "I've got a great idea that has never ever been done before!"
Maybe it was subliminal messages the guy was sending. The phrase "Turn this shit off," kept repeating in my head over and over again.
@RedgeHammer: Mainly because you have to consider your audience. In the crowd are enthusiast gaming press. Watching around the world are your hardcore gamers, not your casual crowd.
Example: This year will see the PS3 release of games like Ape Escape for the PS Move, Hasbro Family Game Night 4, Disney Universe, Happy Feet 2, and Puss in Boots.
Those weren't at the conference. Because their audience wouldn't care. There's a time and a place, an...
Yeah, the Kinect crap. That's what I said. I'll admit that I could see my nephew liking those games, but the E3 press conference was kinda a dumb place to talk about them. The people that would like games like that weren't watching it. They could have just thrown a few commercials on Disney channel and Nick Jr. and that would have done it.
Yeah, if you haven't played Heavy Rain by now, you kinda deserve to have it spoiled. The game came out more than a year ago. After 6 months, I stop caring about possible spoilers.
Yeah, Ethan was a hell of a dad the way I played him. Scott's dad, on the other hand, was a POS.
It basically is - you didn't see Nintendo's conference?
They had exclusives? Where? You mean Halo? Please don't tell me you're talking about the Kinect crap they're trying to shove down our throats.
Edit: @Zir0 - I thought we were talking, to quote you, "must have exclusives." Which would be Gears 3, and two Halo games. So that'd be three. Unless I missed something; I'll admit I dozed off for about twenty minutes during the event.
Was a bit boring, with not much I didn't know already. At least it didn't flatly piss me off like MS's did, or confuse the crap out of me like Nintendo.
And Ubisoft's conference next year better begin with a public execution of Mr. Caffeine.
Spoken like someone who hasn't beaten inFamous 2. Zeke is VERY useful when shit hits the fan.
Seriously? I connected the dots on this one soon as they said the NGP played PSP games. So did everyone else I know.
First, no you don't have to put in CC info; I did this yesterday (even downloaded the Android app) and it made no such request.
Second, I'm in Google's Music Beta too. It is sweet, isn't it?
LMFAO! Oh man; I missed that one. I've never seen him get quite that pissed off before. Can't believe he just got up and left....wait, it's Tommy Tallarico. OF COURSE I can believe that.
That made me laugh so much that I felt I owed it to you to find the Lifeline review from X-Play.

Edit: Damn! Gamefan beat me to it! LOL!
Yeah, that's about it. Apparently it's not cool for people to have different opinions.
