More proof that Sony is doing everything they can to fix this.
Now could everyone please shut the hell up!? Bloody hell; I'm getting tired of everyone whining about this whole thing. PSN got hacked. Yeah, well, it happens; nothing is foolproof. Get over it.
@baodeus: Lots of luck scratching a Blu-Ray to the point where it can't be played. I let my nephew (who was two at the time) play with my Uncharted disk. He slid it around the kitchen floor, the table, and generally wreaked havoc on it for two hours. When he and my sister left, I picked it up, wiped off the dust, and continued playing it.
Took a lot of guts for Miller to write this. Respect.
There's just no pleasing some people. Sounds like a personal problem. Sony upgraded the security of the network, apologized, and is giving me something for my trouble (even when the PSN ToS says specifically that they don't need to do that).
Sounds good to me.
It's just that simple.
Exactly.
Well, the problem is Anon's own credo. If you claim to be Anonymous, then you ARE Anonymous. That's their own rule. They are "everyone and no one."
Sword cuts both ways, gents.
Comment of the Year, man. Well said.
Yes, I have both a 3DTV and PS Move; two, actually. I just don't much care about having either feature in inFamous 2. If they had time to add it, cool, but I probably wouldn't use Move. The only game I've used it in so far for a long time was Heavy Rain. Didn't like it much in RE5; DS3 was better.
And tacked on Move support is the last thing ANY game needs. Either it has a purpose in the game, or it doesn't. I don't want games to support it just ...
So tired of these articles....
Couldn't agree more. Don't need that shit; just gimmie the damn GAME!!! NAO!!!!
Then Fred and I can take over the skies yet again! Game on!
100% agree with you there. I'm fine with them giving a nod to the casuals by giving them an escape route in case they need it, so long as it doesn't mess up the experience for we the hardcore.
*laughs* I can think of a few games where I might have actually used this feature if it was there, like all the damned platforming sections of Xenogears...seriously, whoever thought those were a good idea needs to be dragged out into the street and shot.
Well, Kal853, that's one way of seeing it. I disagree, though. It's not about aiming for a casual audience, but it's about making it so that they can play the game and enjoy it as well. If it were actually aiming for that demographic, the game would simply not have those sequences in them at all, or they would be much easier.
Actually the fact that R* recognized that they were hard enough to make having the option to skip them seem like a good plan in order t...
Taken from the article: "Certain missions in "GTA 4," for example, were extremely challenging and prevented some from finishing the game."
Wait, what? Seriously? Did I miss those missions somehow? I don't recall any of them being particularly difficult.
As far as the actual story is concerned, cool. Better for them to make it skippable for the casuals than to nerf it for the rest of us. Nicely done. This WILL be my next game.
Okay, I admit it. PSN being down sucks. The funny thing? If there wasn't so many goddamned articles on the subject, I may very well have not noticed.
I love gaming, I do; I really do. However, it is not my entire life. I would have tried signing into PSN, found that I was unable to, and then found something else to do.
PLEASE be true; only aksed for this on the PSB two f'n YEARS ago.....
I have no idea why people are still calling it the PSP2. It has a name, and that ain't it.
I thought that was you! I was looking at your profile when I first saw your name 30 minutes ago, but I wasn't sure until now.
And yeah, I'll admit; I flatly hate Saint's Row.
Yeah, it's US only. I know that mostly because I actually read the post. Upon further reading, you'll note that plans are underway for other regions.
