They really had to do SOMETHING to get their momentum back. The question is, will it be enough?
The PS2 didn't really have any hard hitting RPGs until its third year either. They're on schedule.
GameStop was also taking pre-orders for Duke Nukem Forever. A decade ago! Until the publishers says something about a release date, I don't care.
Yeah . . . because it's "only" 7 hours long.
It's a goddamn PSP game! What are they expecting, an 80 hour epic adventure?
Was this guy not here this time last year, when 360 fanboys were running rampant, posting every single bit of anti-Sony news they could find?
You really need to bone up on your gaming history. Brian is making reference to a rumor that went around when the PS2 first came out. Something about Saddam trying to get a bunch of PS2's for the purpose of launching missiles. In fact, here's a link for that:

Wait until this summer, Chuckles. We'll see what happens then.
Companies only refute rumors when they are true. Otherwise, they don't care.
"Resistance is on the 360 too!"
You could hear Greg struggling not to laugh.
Male gamer? Female gamer? Black? White? Hispanic? Asian?
Who the hell cares? When it comes to online gaming, for me it's real simple. If you're on my team, I'm gonna watch your back. If you're one of the good guys (please believe I'm always the bad guy), I'm gonna beat your ass. Period point blank.
Being female grants you absolutely nothing in my book. I'll treat you like everybody else because that's exactly what you are to me; everybody else.
As far as the DLC is concerned, I feel like this. The Shivering Isles pack for Oblivion cost $30. If R* follows a similar pricing structure, then the two episodic DLC packs for GTA4 will cost $60 together. Sixty bucks is a whole new game! I'm sure some will argue with me on this, but I'd much rather buy a whole new game than extensions to one I already own. Particularly in a year when I'm going to be seeing Fallout 3, Prototype, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Haze, Eight Days, and poss...
...see you guys in Liberty City on the 29th of April. Just look for the fireworks and widespread panic. I'll be in the middle of it.
While this story was almost entertaining, I don't see why this is here.
I never said the 360 was inferior. It's a good machine, except for the hardware failures (and I understand those are being sorted out). The 360 will see some excellent games, I'm sure.
But the PS3 is just beginning to shine. If a game that looks as good as Uncharted, which is arguably the best looking game on a console period, is only using an estimated 30% of the console's power, what does that say about what comes next?
Killzone 2 already looks amazing, and it's...
Most of the other comparisons happened much earlier, back when devs sucked at being able to program for the PS3 hardware. Right now, things are starting to even up. Later in the year and early next year, you're going to start seeing some AMAZING games on the PS3.
The 360 will have some nice looking titles too, but they will pale in comparison to PS3 exclusives.
Downloading to my PS3 right now. I'll watch it later.
Doesn't seem so. I'm sure they were happier last year when it was the PS3 that was under fire and media scrutiny. What a difference a year makes, huh?
I guess I have my answer.
I wonder what will happen to this story once it's approved?
Here . . . I posted this on GameFAQs, and I need some feedback.

Okay, here's a rumor about a major upgrade to the PSPs FW (yes, I know this is the PS3 board; just follow me).
