If it's extra storyline stuff, then I can see it adding value. But to think that DLC is a selling point is just stupid. The average consumer A: Won't know and B: won't care.
I still say that's bollocks. M$ should care enough about the people who bought the early 360s . . . the people responsible for the 360's present dominance, to give them this option and not tell them, "You want HDMI? Buy a new 360."
Most of the games they mentioned are multi-platform. Why is that? Why no Halo Chronicles, or Alan Wake? This list is nonsense.
Actually kinda cool for MadCatz to make this for early adopters.
My question is, why didn't Microsoft already make one themselves?
The 360 is a powerhouse when it comes to features as a whole, and it has some truly outstanding games. Should be interesting what they come up with as this year unfolds.
We PS3 fans have been saying the same thing this article is, only we've been saying it for more than a year. To reiterate myself from over 8 months ago, once developers get past the learning curve and truly start to master the PS3 hardware, we are going to start seeing games that will simply blow peoples' minds. There's a reason that Sony said that the next generation didn't start until they said it did. Microsoft jumped the gun in a desperate attempt to dethrone Sony, but those attempt wi...
Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah! From ME!! Yeah, that's right, this is what I said in June of last year and had all the 360 fans telling me how full of crap I was!
You know, it's a real burden, being right so often.
The Smackdown games have started to suck . . . a lot. So it's good to hear this one steps its game up.
Works fine now. I just got done playing for about an hour.
Who are these guys, and what the hell did they do with EA?
What the hell does this idiot rant have to do with this story!? To hell with it, one bubble boy - I'm reporting it.
Some people just think that Home is a Second Life knock-off, but they have no idea how big of a deal this actually is. They're about to find out.
Wish I knew.
does not work. The hd alt link, however, does.
However, I have no idea how a video posted on 12/21/07 qualifies as news. You may as well be posting a trailer for Burnout: Paradise.
So, I should have Home, GTA4, and the Little Big Planet beta around the same time. Excellent.
Only problem is, that's not all the PS3 is meant to do. I know it's confusing . . . here, let me help you out.
The average gamer right now is 30 years old. Interestingly enough, a typical 30 year old, often times, does more than play games. Sometimes, you'd want to watch a movie, or chat with a few friends, or listen to some tunes, or hell, even surf the web.
Kinda nice to be able to do all these things in one package. Now, as far as games are concerned . . . you...
In my above post, I meant Killzone 2, not 3. Sorry ladies and gents; it's late, and I'm running on almost 32 hours of straight awakeness.
I've only got two rainbows thus far, despite beating five levels. This game is NOT easy, but hot damn, it's fun.
Only problem is, I don't game ALL the time. Sometimes, I just want to kick f'n back and watch a movie, or chat with my buddy in London and my homegirl in Greece at the same time, or check my online bank account while deciding what game I want to play next, or maybe just download and listen to a podcast while I clean up the house.
Bottom line, the PS3 is the centerpiece of my at home entertainment. If all you ever intend to do is play games, the 360 or the Wii is perfect for you...
Of course it's going up. It not as if it could get any worse.
