This comment, much like the one in the open zone, made me bust out laughing, so you get bubbles too.
Since that literally made me bust out laughing, bubbles for you.
They are teh arrogant!
*chuckles* All joking aside, this is really good news. The sooner this "war" ends, the sooner we'll see regular, non internet savvy end users begin to adopt to a next-gen format.
The preview is wrong. The demo has more than 2 levels (more like 6) and there are three unit types, not two, and three drums get unlocked in the course of the demo, not two. How the hell did the guy flub that up?
Man, I love this game, though. When I kept hearing about it, I was like, "Yeah, whatever," but after having played it . . . I need this game. It is fun as hell!
That's how I took it too, but I couldn't put a personal opinion in the story. I mean, when he was making this rant, everyone else was cracking up laughing.
Actually, I agreed with much that Hilary said that day. I hope that after GDC, Cheapy D actually does make an appearance on the Three Red Lights podcast . . . I think it would be a very informative and highly interesting debate.
The only ones that call it "in game XMB" would be us. Because actually, that's not what it is. All that's needed and all that Sony is actually doing is providing access to the friends list and possibly the music part of the XMB, not the whole damn thing.
We just refer to all that as "in game XMB" on account of it being shorter.
Of course, by then, it won't be $600. Hell, it's not even $600 right now.
As far as Sony stepping up is concerned . . . you did see this year's line up for the PS3, right?
Now, on topic, I'll say that 16% is a hell of a lot better than 33%, but still unacceptable.
Good. Now maybe this stupid "war" can just end and HD-DVD can just go away. I hate confusion in the market.
Hmm. None of those have sold a million?

Oops . . . you might be wrong about that. I guess maybe we should base statements on actual facts and not fanboy assumptions, yeah? Or, at the least, if you're going to do the latter, take it to the open zone.
That damn thing is hideous. Why the hell are the buttons imbedded into the screen?
This one is not a very good mock up. I liked the one from last week better.
Because the "Sonic with guns," idea worked really well.
No, wait.....
Like this matters. They hate the 360. They could cut the price in half and package it with a ham sandwich and a bottle of sake, and it STILL won't sell, because they hate the 360.

Edit: I don't see how I got a disagree. I thought the fact that it's been two years and less than 600,000 people in JPN own a 360 was kind of a hint.
You have got to be $h!ting me. This is just stupid, and a waste of time.
They canceled the Marvel MMO!? This is the first I'm hearing of it. Why the hell did they do that!? And if they're so pumped about Too Human, why the hell are they burying it by releasing it one week after GTA4?

I like how that little article ignores the fact that Blu-Ray has the support of all but two major studios in Hollywood. That's cute. It also ignores that the HD-DVD price drops aren't being done because Toshiba is a really nice company that just wants to make people happy. They're doing it because they're desperate. These are fire sale prices, nothing more.
Proof positive that DMC is, and will always be, known as a PlayStation franchise. Kinda like GTA4 . . . yeah, I went there.

Edit: Wait a second? Am I seeing this right? Only two 360 games in the top 15, but 3 PS3 games and 3 PS2 games? How can that be right?
But you did make one mistake. You said that SSHD is the only game to use custom soundtracks, but you are wrong. Before they patched this game to include this feature, High Velocity Bowling already had it from day one.
Little thing, I know . . . otherwise, great review!
