Let's not forget Epic games. They didn't seem to have an issue either.
Use the PS3 as the lead platform, you ****ing morons! That way, gamers on both consoles get the best games.
Sony said ages ago that making a game on the PS3 and porting it is far easier than making a game on the 360 and trying to port it. You'd think that with Burnout, they would have figured that out, but some idiots are always trying to ice skate uphill. Christ's sake.
You waste no time, do you?
Looks like someone hit the wrong switch. I thought it was the Silver members who had to wait a week, not the Gold members. Oh man . . . this is too funny.
I'm sure they'll sort it out soon . . . but in the meantime, this is really funny.
Of course it will. It's GTA for crying out loud. Where does the "surprise" part begin?
Then again, it's not as if I care. Day one buy.
All those features will indeed be available via the XMB, w/o having to actually go into Home.
I deleted the demo five seconds after I heard they were going to be turning the online . . . err . . . off. That was about a month ago, and I haven't cared since.
The Open Zone truly is a mad house. I like n4g's new "let the inmates run the asylum" thing they have over here, and then we can actually talk as gamers in the other zone. Brilliant move.
Well, there's Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, the upcoming Silent Hill: Origins, Indigo Prophesy, Second Sight, the Prince of Persia Trilogy, and Beyond Good & Evil that I'm still playing on my PS3. Not to mention my g/f like to play her Sonic collection.
So, to answer your question, how many more PS2 games do I intend to play? Lots.
All I have to say to that idiotic theory can be found in the below video.
But why the hell would you want to do that? That's not very convenient. So what are you supposed to do? only have like 10 games at one time? I have more games than that in just one folder on my PS3.
I liked AC. It had its issues, but it was the first. I'm looking forward to seeing what else the franchise can offer . . . and maybe the lessons learned here will impact Prince of Persia.
Just in case the name confuses you, this is EvoAnubis.
And yeah, I got burned a few times too . . . I'm glad to say that I was on the right side in this one.
That's really all I had to say. Wake me when something important happens.
I don't know about this one, my fellow gamers. it's an interesting idea, but with the storage of the Wii being so limited, how would someone build a library of DL games? What's the plan here? SD cards?
I suppose time will tell . . . I've been wrong before, and I have been known to lie.
Yeah, you're right about that. If memory serves, we were supposed to see an open beta at the end of '07, and somehow I don't recall that happening.
All will be forgiven when it finally comes out though.
@ Dark Sniper: That'd be stupid. Sony needs to get this service out as soon as humanly possible, before the holiday season starts and the heavy hitters come into play. That way, you already have the service up, devs can get a chance to see what the full Home exper...
It's Final Fantasy 13. What more info do these people really think we need? I. Don't. Care. JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN GAME ALREADY!!!!!
I just posted this in the Gamer Zone, but just to say the same thing here, you start out at the server specific to your region, but you can always bust out the virtual PSP and go to any server that you want.
As someone else said, there will be different servers and you'll start at the one for your region, but you can always bust out the virtual PSP and go to any server that you want to.
Wow . . . this is actually really impressive. With 2008 shaping up to be a hell of a year for the PS3, I can easily see them overtaking the 360 this year.
