This is exactly what MS is scared of. People associate GTA with the PlayStation brand. It's going to take lots of advertising dollars on their part to break through this.

The only thing that I am personally debating is the validity of this story. The guy who contributed this misquoted the hell out of the original article, making up whatever he wanted. Why the HELL was this approved?
This article should not have been approved. Nowhere in the article does it say that 6M copies will be sold to 360 owners. What is says, and I'll quote:

Still you're making the argument that they're bad, so let's ban them. Do you really think that making them illegal means that people won't have them? Did that work for alcohol when they tried it? Bull. Guns are not made to simply kill people. You could make the same argument for bows/arrows.
Guns can be used to kill someone, so simply ban them? How about alcohol? That can kill people too. Or maybe cars! Those can be used to kill a person. Or maybe knives, bats, swords, rope, fishing line, pencils, glass bottles, broom sticks, plastic bags, and so on and so forth.

But forum posts aren't news. People say all sorts of thing in forum posts, true and not so true. I'm not saying that I don't believe the news. I'm simply saying that using forum posts as your only resource is not credible.

The PS3 will be fine. More quality titles is never a bad thing. Separating the two by a month would be sufficient. Two months would be better.
Yeah, Sony should also downplay the fact that MS outsold them last year, and have thus far in 2008, outsold them every single month.
