What a bunch of idiots. If they weren't stupid enough to realize, the batteries last years, not to mention that you can still use it with a USB cable. They make it sound as if the battery dies quick enough to invalidate the pros of a PS3.

I don't know if this is a new hack or not, but the leaderboards have been hacked and tampered with since the beginning.
It truly means nothing. Even if leaderboards couldn't be hacked, people still boost, trade headshots, etc. so it's pretty much worthless.
Not that the leaderboards are a big deal. It's fun to compare yourself, but really, when people cheat, and when people hack to get their names at the top, it just becomes a joke.

But even if that is so, WaW didn't get much heat, and people blame IW when it's Activision ultimately controlling them.
One of the biggest complaints people have with MW2 is that it feels to casual-friendly. I am wondering if this is because of Activision or if it was IW's choice.

The one thing I can't understand is how Treyarch gets no heat for literally Copying and pasting ever mechanic from COD4 and adding tanks plus co-op, yet IW gets a whole bunch of heat for MW2 when the MP was miles modified than Treyarch's efforts.
I mean, you don't have to like IW, but COD4 to MW2 is much different than COD4 to WaW. WaW was a copy and paste, MW2 took their game and made a lot of aspects different.

This is not a bug or glitch. This is the problem with the inviting system where your friend can end up on the other team.
I really didn't think people would do such a thing, but IW needs to fix it. It's not a glitch, just a simple awareness that falls under boosting XP.
This is why we should have had a beta IW. I like MW2 more than BC2 (but I love BC2 too) but at least they have a beta. Hell, they even seem to be pouring heart and soul into heari...

We (or maybe just I) don't know much about the Heavy Rain gameplay aside from the QTE and exploring that I saw.
I'm sure there is more to it. I am liking the game for being unique. It's promising to be a thriller and in all honesty, again, this is a different game. It's unique, and it's looking to be quite an experience.
Trash on the QTE all you want, but at least wait for the release/demo before you knock it off.
They don't need a new IP to be as successful as Halo. It's not a bad thing if it isn't as successful as Halo. Many games aren't as successful but that doesn't stop them from being a success.

Why would you disregard the games before PS3 came out? It doesn't change the fact that the 360 has more A-AAA games than PS3. No need to modify the facts, if the PS3 chose to came out a year after then 360 games prior to the PS3 shouldn't have to be disqualified.

Halo is a killer app. It put the Xbox on the map, but what's your point? MS may not have the diversity of Nintendo or Sony but they have a good list of exclusives too. Hell, the 360 has more A-AAA games than PS3.
But yes, Halo made Xbox. It was a smart move by MS and it gave them the foundation, along with Xbox LIVE to begin their Xbox console.
