-Killzone 2 (awesome multiplayer)
-Street Fighter IV (meh, I was a noob and online was dominated by experienced players)
-Uncharted 2 (GOTY)
-Demon's Souls (Surprise hit of the year)
-Modern Warfare 2 (addicted to this game's fun multiplayer)
Great year for me. December is going to be made up for by the games of the previous months as I plan on playing Demon's Souls, MW2, and Uncharted 2. Hell I may even pop in K2 again once GG return to it (still waiting ...
You obviously wouldn't hear all the players at once -_-
Squad chat is all that is needed, but you actually need mics for it which people dont seem to use.
I can't get excited for MAG.
In between Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2, MAG just seems out of place.
I really think that making the focus on the 256 players destroyed this game and I'll tell you why.
You NEVER actually fight all players at once. Remember that cool trailer? It doesn't seem to be the actual game. You start off in small numbers, running around a lot, etc.
Basically, the # of players is an illusion and as a resul...
Whoa wait a minute. You need Reach to be inferior in order for you to prove to yourself that PS3 is stronger? Is that what this is about? PS3 is a far more capable machine than the 360.
Reach doesn't have to produce graphics like Killzone anyway. Since when is a game about graphics? I mean really, it's like you make expectations and then plan on seeing them fail. Graphics will always be outdone but it's true artistic flare in a game that makes something timeless. Just look at som...
Kinda like Killzone 2, eh? XD
I can care less if they release a CGI trailer. I'm sure they will continue teasing until they reveal something big at a specific time, maybe VGAs.
I have faith in Bungie as I do in any other respected dev team, so I'll just go with the flow so to speak.
The eyes after a while it should be interesting. I don't think it will work effectively for all games, but I'm dying to play WipeOut HD in 3-D.
This can be really cool or really gimmicky but at least games wont be forced around it like the majority of Wii games/motion control games that I fear will happen with the PS3 and Natal.
Seems like they are running out of "Top X" ideas.
In all honesty though, these are all light-hearted jokes to grab people's attentions like a good ad should. Anyone seriously campaigning that it's sexist needs to calm down.
Now Fat Princess-- THAT I can understand feminists seeing as sexist Lol.
I can understand HolyOrangeCows and my comments to him (even though I thought it was a fair argument we were having) but the one between you and I was much more civil. Hell I even gave you a thumbs up despite not entirely agreeing with you because you were level-headed.
Guess it was too heated lol.
Hope its multiplatform, would love to see what new things Bungie can do. These guys are very talented at what they do.
Really, in the grand scheme of things they really can sit back and watch the PS3 and 360 fight to the death and they will still be victorious.
They have made an instant success with the Wii regardless of what gamers like myself think about it.
PS3 tanked in comparison to PS2, and the 360 screwed itself with RRoD though LIVE is making them a fortune.
Nintendo is the only one this gen that swept the market. Damn the casual market. Damn it straight to hell....
Well like I said I'm a SotC fanboy. Never played IP.
I hope Sony continues the trend of releasing HD remakes. Perhaps they can do the same for IP.
Well good luck trying to sell the game post-FF13.
It's better to release it before if they are so worried because after FF13 releases Japan is going to have a mass amount of bladder-related deaths due to the inability to stop playing FF13.
Learn the definition of expansions. EFLC are exclusive STANDALONE games, not expansions. Hell they feature more content than most games, and the same goes for ODST.
The fanboys attacking the 360 are hilarious this year. It was only a couple years ago that Sony was in this position but of course PS3 fans had all kinds of excuses, yet they fail to realize that the PS3 was still great back then and it's no different for the 360.
The 360 has four games you can't get on a...
Considering the track record The Last Guardian is going to be oh so much better. Of course this is my opinion, but the mystical fantasy world of the Last Guardian looks so much more intriguing and I have felt much more emotion seeing TLG trailer than I ever have seeing the Heavy Rain ones.
Shadow of the Colossus is one of my Top 5 games of all time, and so I am a huge Team ICO fanboy, but TLG> Heavy Rain IMO in terms of story, setting, and most importantly the experience it se...
Looks to be a unique experience, this game. I'm not expecting it to play traditionally, so I do have my doubts with it, but time will tell. I just hope they pull off the intensity and emotion they are trying to put into it.
I didn't say that they were trying to be "nice" but DRE was a pretty widespread issue (not as bad as RRoD) but Sony didn't do anything to alleviate the tension.
If you check out the posting history of the guy above you'll notice he loves to unreasonably trash on the 360.
ODST started out as DLC but Bungie themselves said that it grew into something much bigger which is why they released it as a new title which is why it went standalone.
I don't think they really do, but it would be cool if all leaders communicate with all other squad leaders or something.
The way it's divided is pretty neat (at least I think this is how they do it/SHOULD do it)
128 players on one team divided by squads of 8= 16 squads.
Those 16 squads are divided to 8 for simplicity.
All squad leaders can obviously talk to their squad members, but they should also be able to talk to their 7 other squad lea...
